  1. Collins said he would not sign if he gets selected in day 3, and will enter for 2016 draft. At this point, trade up to the last spot (5 spots) and get him.
  2. Has to be in the 14-16 mil per year. http://overthecap.com/position/wide-receiver/
  3. Not against the things I bolded at all. I would LOVE chasing DThomas but he's going to cost an arm and a leg. Even Maclin or Torrey Smith wouldn't be terrible either. Settle on Crabtree? Mike Iupati is a must sign, lock him up next to Brick and Mangold. CB is hard, Revi$ I feel is going to restructure with NE to get guaranteed money and won't be available, but any CB there would be an upgrade. The draft though would determine many of the needs though. Wouldn't mind grabbing Cooper or Schreff which would help out two needs and would be BAP for the value.
  4. Who would you want (if they don't resign with teams)? http://nflrt.com/2015-nfl-free-agents/
  5. I know he's about to ink with Michigan, but screw it. I want whoever Harbaugh can work with him, and Harbaugh as the head coach. Give him the keys, the car and the money to get him to NY.
  6. Phase 1: Collect underpants Phase 2: ? Phase 3: Profit
  7. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1700224/dexter-mcdougle What an awful pick. Dri Archer should've been the pick, this guy could've been taken much later in the draft.
  8. Was looking through CBSSports 2014 draft website and mocked a draft as if I were Idzik. I'll attach the links below: 1. Brandin Cooks (WR) http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1880880/brandin-cooks 2. Jimmy Ward (SS) http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1786605/jimmie-ward 3. Stanley Jean-Baptiste (CB) http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/2042647/stanley-jean-baptiste 4(1). Dri Archer (WR) ** http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1725062/dri-archer 4(2). David Yankey (G) http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1737649/david-yankey 4(3
  9. 1st - WR Beckham 2nd - SS Ward 3rd (trade up) - TE Niklas Then address CBs and OG with the later picks.
  10. I'm hoping: 1st round - Beckham 2nd round - Niklas -- Other options for the 1st could be Cooks, Ebron, Evans, Lee Interestingly enough, I would like the Jets to trade up in the 2nd to get either RB Tre Mason, or SS Jimmy Ward -- the two best players ranked in their respective position. Check out Jimmy Ward's youtube, he had 5 different punt blocks alone, and a guy who could bring excellent depth and compete for the starting job. Mason would not be necessary if the Jets sign CJ2K, but reminds me a lot of LT coming out of TCU.
  11. http://walterfootball.com/draftchart.php If they were interested in trading up the #13, they probably will need to do: NYJ #13 and 1st in 2013 for SF #31 in 2013 and 1st in 2014 at the very minimum
  12. We'll get him at #13 when we trade Revis. He's mocking in that position anyway to Tampa, and it wouldn't be too big of a reach.
  13. The Jets need help on offense right now, and honestly Tavon Austin looks like a really special player that could change the way D coordinators plan for us. We can always address the defensive side of the ball with the 2nd and 3rd round picks this year but we need to realize that the franchise QB is not on the Jets this year or in this draft class. Long and short though, Austin is a player that could get 15-20 touches per game and make a real impact (KR, PR, rushing or receiving). The way I see it is Rex and Sanchez will both be gone after this year, and we will still have a draft pick
  14. Westbrook was but had the ability to be a receiving and rushing threat out of the backfield. This kid has the ability to run or catch the ball, and is the type of player you want getting touches. Warmack has the potential of being a stud and is the best at his position. That would be the smartest and safest pick this year IMO
  15. Revis for Bucs #13 and conditional 3rd (accelerates to a second if the Bucs make the playoffs or Revis is a pro-bowler). Draft: #9 Chance Warmack (G) (The offensive line with --DBrick, Warmack, Mangold, Colon, Howard-- will be much improved and will give a great foundation for the future.) #13 Tavon Austin (WR) (Austin gives us a game changer player that we've lacked since Leon Washington. Has Percy Harvin like ability, and gives Mornhinweg his Brian Westbrook of the offense.) Thoughts?
  16. I wanted Wormack (3) in the first, Lacy (36th) in the second. Very doubtful that will happen though.
  17. Coming off a shoulder injury, name one USC QB that has done anything in the NFL since 2000, a guy that had a bad year and a falling stock.
  18. Round 1: Chance Warmack, G, Alabama Warmack, the most dominant interior blocker in the SEC in years, is perhaps the most sure thing in the 2013 draft. Round 2: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
  19. 1. Fire Sparano, demote Tannebaum and bring in a new GM with a football mind (Bill Cowher/Eric Mangini, etc.) and decide Rex's fate. 2. Players to release or walk -- Tebow, Scott, Greene, Ducasse, Jason Smith and explore trading Revis. 3. Sign: ***All dependent on how much cap space is create QB - Jason Campbell/Matt Moore, RB - Mendenhall/S. Jackson only on the cheap if possible. If not draft a RB in day 2 WR - Resign Braylon for 2-3 years or Greg Jennings if financially capable TE - Resign Keller S - LaRon Landry 4. Draft - OL in the 1st RD. Have an
  20. Wasn't overly excited about the 1st pick Coples...I was hoping that we took Reiff at #16, then trade up for Upshaw (seeing he was available) to answer two glaring holes. At this point it's time to revamp this D and get to the QB, so I'm all about trading up and grabbing Upshaw now to really bring some pressure. Coples could be a unique talent like J.P.P but could be the 2nd coming of Gholston. Either way getting Upshaw A.S.A.P. would be GREAT value at DE and help the front 7 tremendously.
  21. Just watched the video from last season, and had my opinion on him changed. He looks every much like a Matt Cassel/Kevin Kolb in the making. From a statistical standpoint it looks like he's thrown up very respectable numbers but people need to take into consideration a few things (esp for this video): 1. The coaching staff that he has in GB 2. The WRs/pass options at his disposal 3. How many passes he was in shotgun (probably a product to poor o-line injuries and play) 4. ***His overall pocket presence ***He looks very ordinary and appears to have 7th round talent in arm stre
  22. Sunday is going to be horrible. I'm going to a place that has open bar from 9 pm - 7 am = mega hangover and possibility I don't make it into SunLife Stadium. Wait, you're talking about the Jets and their playoff aspirations.
  23. Plaxico had a great year statistically and enough to show other teams that he has something left in the tank warranting one more contract. As happy as he'd be with the Jets the reality is he lost a lot of money and time in prison and will probably take the biggest offer from whatever team throws it. If/When Plax leaves (which I wouldn't be terribly upset with outside the redzone), we should welcome Braylon with open arms again. He (should) be humbled and looking to prove something with the Jets (again). If they ink him to a 3 year, 15 mil contract which is backloaded it gives the Jet
