  5. The Jets inactives for today: K Mike Nugent, QB Erik Ainge, WR David Clowney, CB/KR Justin Miller, CB Drew Coleman, LB Marques Murrell and DL Kareem Brown. Brett Ratliff is the third quarterback. Starting DE Derrick Burgess, who sat out last week's game, is inactive this week as well. The Raiders' other IAs: WR Todd Watkins, S Rashad Baker, T James Marten, C John Wade and TEs John Madsen and Ben Troupe. Marques Tuiasosopo, who you'll remember was with the Jets last season, is Oakland's third QB. The Raiders announced that Kalimba Edwards will again start for Burgess, and also that Chaz Schilens will start at WR for Ronald Curry.
  6. The big name of the day not playing comes from the Raiders side of things as DE Derrick Burgess is inactive with a triceps injury. The other Raiders inactives: WR Todd Watkins, S Rashad Baker, T James Marten, C John Wade, TE John Madsen, TE Ben Troupe and Marques Tuiasosopo (3rd QB). For the Jets, once again no David Clowney or Justin Miller. At this point, your guess is as good as mine on Miller. Mangini said last week if Miller wasn't active, it would be a "coaching decision" more than anything injury related so there's your answer to how far Miller's stock has dropped. But for those of you - and I know there's more than a few - who are not fans of Drew Coleman, there's news you'll like: he's inactive, too. Interesting. Also inactive for the Jets: K Mike Nugent, QB Erik Ainge, LB Marques Murrell, DT Kareem Brown and QB Brett Ratliff (3rd QB)
  7. Nickel back Drew Coleman, struggling all season, was benched for today
