Understood that practices are shorter under the CBA and there is more to football than passing the ball…..but there is NOTHING more important to the Jets success than ZW getting reps right now.  2 series makes no sense.

    Agreed.

Go read year 2 of Mahomes in TC he was throwing the ball 100 times a practice INT’s everywhere until he figured it out then the INT’s stopped.

The field is the same for everyone though. They want a softer league with more scoring. With the CTE issue being real, not sure what other choice they had.

I’m praying one of the Saudi Princes falls in love with football and pulls a LIV golf thing offering 1 billion to all QB’s 😂  NFL needs to be taken down about 100,000 pegs.  I love Football but really starting to hate the NFL.

I think $500 million dollar contracts means you understand you have a high chance at CTE it’s your choice.

Seems like an amazeballs deal ....

$80 a year for every local and primetime game.  Plus ... replays of all games and coaches films.

    What am i missing ?

If your a huge Jets fan and want to completely cut the cord it’s less then $5 a game not bad.

I wonder what the split will be like during the season.  I cant imagine anyone see's over 20% more than the other back, so it doesnt really feel like a battle, unless, taking the first snap/series is all that important.  Feel like this will be a hot hand type of team.

Idk I’d look at how SF deployed Elijah Mitchell last year as a 6th round rookie, when healthy he got the bulk of the load wasn’t really committee.

... "You should have a lot of expectations for Sauce ... he needs to be a multi time pro bowler ... otherwise its a failed pick ... if your taking a guy in the top 5 at that position ... he needs to be a guy we look back on and say he's one of the best corners in the league, and hes a multiple time pro bowler .... that's the expectation........ thats what your saying when you use the 4th overall pick on a CB."

.... Pretty much exactly how I feel ...

I literally hope he makes zero pro bowls.

A year ago, looking back on his first OTA practice as a rookie, Wilson had shown the moments that made him the No. 2 pick in the 2021 draft. He can float out of the pocket and let loose a one-legged, sidearm-looking circus pass that lands beautifully in the arms of his wide receiver. You’ll remember the one to Keelan Cole in the Jets’ win over the Titans. But if you were to place an optometrist’s patch over your eye, obscuring all the numbers, and ask who was the high pick in the draft a few weeks before, the answer would have clearly been backup Mike White. In the moments when Wilson wasn’t asked to be spectacular, he was behind his backup in terms of hitting the short- and medium-range routes with consistent, leading accuracy. On a quick slant, the ball might have forced a receiver to turn backward and reach away from his momentum. Neither quarterback had much experience with the current set of wide receivers, but White was more efficient when the final step of the assigned drop back hit the turf, and the ball immediately discharged in the location it was supposed to.

This is clearly the only paragraph @T0mShane read.
