  1. I like them too. I seriously do. And I like the black coupled with the black end zones. I will also say that there are some younger kid Jets fans around me that thought the old unis were lame and these new ones are awesome. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  2. I don't think it's a pipe dream to think that Sam is a good QB. Sure a lot of us see more than others, but the guy can play. And there is no denying that this OL and the other circumstances of the season could absolutely be an excuse for lesser play, but the guy ended up 7-5 as our starter. To be sure, he has a ton to improve upon, but its not so far fetched to think that if he actually has consistent protection he will improve. Add weapons to the mix as well. He could fail too, but it would be really nice to give him what most QB's have before we pass judgment. No?
  3. Haha. No doubt you are man. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  4. If we could grab Biadasz at 68 I would be ecstatic!!! Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  5. Great flick. That was his second movie. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  6. I think the fact that her car is very close by eased some of that. Now if I said we had to go to my office we may not have the interview. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  7. Gotcha. I’ll say that if that first game was to be any indicator, Mosely was going to be a force for us. It really sucks that we didn’t get to see him and Williamson together. At least we got to see Burgess and Hewitt. Both are very keepable and provide excellent depth Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  8. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app Not the worst draft. I’m happy with a lot of it.
  9. I’m going by what others say about Wills at this point so I’m not really rock hard for one over the other currently. I can say that I’m happy to have one of the two but if Wills is there it looks like he would have to be the pick. And I’d be happy with that. If they bypassed the OL to take a player like Juedy I wouldn’t be all that upset either but I’m really hoping this is the year of OL. Let’s see how FA and the combine go. 10. I’d venture to think that the same shirt has a different aura about it when it’s on a pretty young girl. Maybe you could try again?? [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  11. Ya think? I’d sure like to see what $17 mil gets ya these days Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  12. I told her. She’s actually a regular listener to the JN podcast so she’s almost here. We’ll see Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  13. Days of Hey She impressed me with her overall understanding of some of the details. Very cool.
  14. From my perspective it’s a no brainer. Sign Robbie for up to $13 per. It won’t even be an issue in 2 years when the salary cap is $20 mil higher. . A good idea here is to Keep Robbie, draft Higgins( in this scenario) and call it a day at the WR spot until the later rds. 2nd and 3rd are all OL then. I like this Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  15. Hmm. That’s rough. I would want to grab Higgins or prince but in all honesty it might have to be Okudah there. Do not want Epenesa. At least not now. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  16. I actually didn’t know that. That’s very sad. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  17. Hahahahahaaaaa. Gholston!!! Jesus. I felt like I was forgetting some but how the hell??? I wrote that while walking down the hall into a meeting. I’m actually proud of myself for even finding guys like Terry in this mess of a brain I walk around with. The point remains the same. It’s just the point that for the last 20 years or so the jets numerous regimes have found it extremely attractive to draft DL with the emphasis on DT more than any other positional group I’m pretty sure. It goes back a ways. The last decade has been unreal with how many resources we’ve allotted to the DL. My hope is that it’s over and over for good. Because interestingly we’ve always done pretty well with our UDFA’s and late rd picks on the DL so using premium draft capital is just dumb. Ps. Member when Boose led the league in preseason sacks? 18. End of story indeed. We had so many needs. One could argue that DT was the best stocked position on the entire team. Just like it was in 2015. The NY Jets love for D linemen over the years in unexplainable. Dorian Boose Rick Terry Dewayne Robertson Muhammad Wilkerson Quinton Coples Sheldon Richardson Leonard Williams Nathan Shepherd Quinnen Williams All taken with one our first two picks in their respective draft. It’s insanity. And I’m probably missing someone. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  19. Not necessarily. I was more talking about the finite aspect of your statement. And especially early in a career. The guys we like to compare Darnold to have completely different circumstances. These "Elite" guys like Mahomes, Watson, Brady and the rest. how many have to change and learn. new system every year or two? very few. There is the argument that the QB made the system work and that can be true, but it's certainly no help to have a subpar HC/OC system and less than top tier talent. add to it having to learn a brand new system regularly. You know what I'm talking about I'm sure. That's the main reason I'm not on the fire Case Brigade even though I am very low on him. I think, to your point, that Sam can make it work if he has more time within and some protection. Id rather he not have to learn another system this soon.
  20. Destroy the fallacy!!! Of course you’re right but that’s the figurative unprovable. in a literal sense and in in a rudimentary simple way it’s an accurate statement. The fallacy will never die by the way. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  21. That’s not true in the slightest. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  22. Tom Shane isn’t a flavor anymore? Someone should let him know. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  23. Not untrue. But I would also say comfort in a system is also a factor. Mahomes- same system his entire career. Darnold - 2nd system in two years. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  24. I would puke. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
