Ray Romano, Gandolfini, Kevin James, Adam Sandler, Rich Eisen, Larry David?  I’ve got no problems with them.

    Greeny and Beningo are insufferable.

George R Martin, Big Pussy, Richard Belzar, Liev Shriber etc, etc

It's not like the Eagles (or any team) were running exotic fronts or blitzing on 2nd down in a preseason opener.

That was the sort of ugly INT you would expect to see from a 4th string rookie (or Sam Darnold, Mark Sanchez).

He had 5 pass attempts.  One horrid pass, 3 completions, two were long 3rd down conversions.  The INT sucked and his night showed nothing.
I want to know where all thes not sort of ugly INTs reside.  Are Rodgers, Burrows, etc INT’s pretty?  INTs happen to every and any QB in the NFL, it a part of the game.  Grading INTs is a huge waste of time and means nothing

BTW, a friend of mine works for Heritage Auctions, procures product, works with the Namath collection.  A little homage to your screen name, you bid on line:

If Zach doesn’t throw that pick on Friday then no one is saying this.

Everyone was excited about the kid stacking good practices, adding more muscle mass to his frame, smashing mature strange, etc.

Again, you guys are basing way too much on pre-season.

Joe Flacco is a solid veteran backup who shouldn’t embarrass himself for a week or two while Zach recuperates.

Zach Wilson is absolutely going to be the starter when he returns, as he should be.

There’s a whole contingent who didn’t want him over whoever and just are unwilling to let him take his lumps and learn the NFL game.  They can’t even wait to see if all the good work in summer camp means this would be a better season.

I'm rooting for Becton to come back as well, but the reality is that even after surgery, that knee is a crap-shoot to stay intact carrying 370+ lbs. Its bad luck that hes gotten injured, but that doesnt matter at this point.

He would have much better chances to come back successful at a lower weight but he hasnt shown, so far, the desire to come in to came 40-50 lbs lighter.

He has a fractured bone, not a blown knee.

Either he can’t learn or we haven’t got good teachers.  I’m betting on the former.

He hasn’t reached the point that we know or should be guessing yet.  Why can’t a LaFleur given his time with Shanahan and his brother as a support staff get his part of the equation down.  I hate blaming coaches, if ZW fails with this offense and the toys at his disposal then he’s not it.

How long does it take?  You do not always play for a mythical future.  I get not blowing things up and going balls out for a few wins like 2015, but give me a break.  They didn't sign Laken Tomlinson, Duane Brown, and Kwon Alexander because they are willing to put up with another 4 wins.  It literally takes 3 years to completely overhaul a roster.  This is Douglas' 4th year with 3 full offseasons.  It is the coaching staffs 2nd season.  They have done their installs they have selected their draft picks and free agents.  They don't have to win the super bowl, but "developing" does not excuse a failure to compete in 2022.  They need to win.

This was just JDs third draft.  Only two of his drafts have played a single game.  They were one of if not the youngest teams in the league last season, they also have to develop.  He signed a couple of vets as stop gaps.  Duane Brown was signed out of desperation and need because Bectons kneecap exploded again.  Happens.  It will be his 4th season just like it will be the staffs 2nd.  I agree they have to show growth.  They have to start entertaining us.  I hate weekends when I know we’re going to lose too.  But comp;aiming that players, coaches have to go or suck after 1 year isn’t right or the way to move forward.  Macc left the team a mess, I can’t think of many teams that took it down to level we did after JDs 1st season.

    1. I wanted the best available QB, idc who it was stop placing me on team Fields, TY

    2. Im not arguing with you about the leagues worst QB , respectfully dude wtf are you typing rn 😂🤣

You do realize there was virtually no difference in the ranking of each QB that those who rely on numbers are so happy to make their case.  And that the ranking doesn’t take into acct rosters, injuries, etc that effect QB play.  But especially spewing cliches like Fields processes defenses quicker.   Based on nothing.  So yeah, don’t argue

    Please stop this nonsense

Field hasn’t shown he can find a secondary receiver and somehow you have your guy more capable, quicker.  You have factual or you’re just blowing air into the conversation because you wanted Fields

Remember all these arm chair QBs before the draft 2 years ago : “fEiLdS cAnT pRoCeSs iNFo fAsT”.

the irony of Zach being the slowest processor out of the bunch

@FidelioJet what happened you was one of the loudest tearing Justin down for his “processing skills”, Zach is the worst in the league, explain this

Based on what?  Because you wanted Fields?  It’s kind of like all of those who cried about small school competition but OSU v BYU meant nothing, Wilson was better than Fields

  10. Lawrence was the consensus number 1 a year ago, most had Wilson second.
Both had crappy 1st years so,what would or should change that order today.

This is a waste of time unless your goal is to see a lot of people say Lawrence.
