  2. According to Pro Football Talk Posted by Mike Florio on October 27, 2009 2:07 PM ET We pointed out earlier today that former Jets cornerback and kick returner Justin Miller could be returning to the team to fill Leon Washington's special-teams role. According to Dave Hutchinson of the Newark Star-Ledger, it's expected to happen, as soon as today. Miller made the Pro Bowl as a member of the Jets in 2006. He returned two kickoffs for touchdowns that season, and he returned two more for touchdowns in seven games last year with the Raiders. The Jets have reached out to the ag
  3. Quick NFL question: What is the reasoning behind naming 8 inactive players each week. I understand why the practice squad players wouldn't suit up, but if there are 53 full-salaried players, why not have them all active for the games? After reviewing the play in film study, Ihedigbo, who we spoke to before we learned

The team also signed DT Antonio Garay to the practice squad. The announcements were made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum. Green (6'2", 320) signed with the Jets as an unrestricted free agent on March 16 and was released on Oct. 17. He appeared in three games (at Houston, vs. Tennessee, at Miami) this season, recording seven tackles (four solo). He played in 13 games with Seattle in 2008 and registered 21 tackles, one s
