Jetsfan80
Sorry for delaying things, guys. When I tried to make my pick last night, the board was of course down for me (not sure if this happened to anything else), and an exam I had today consumed all my time. As for the picks you made for me, TS, great job. I was actually going to take McPherson at 95, no joke. I figured he was worth a shot, considering that AZ had two third rounders. AZ looks very good at the moment: 1) RB Cadillac Williams ~ Auburn 2) CB Bryant McFadden ~ FSU 3) TE Kevin Everett ~ Miami 3) QB Adrian McPherson ~ FSU As for the Barber pick for Jacksonville, I hadn't really been thinking about tabbing a RB, but Barber is a talent that I can't say I'm unhappy about adding if I'm Jacksonville's GM. Greg Jones MAY be their future, but you can never have enough young talent at RB, especially when you consider Fred Taylor is pretty much done and LaBrandon Toefield is nothing more than a backup. The Troll
TS made a great pick with Eric Green. He may not have the fastest 40 time, but that SOB can play. Reminds me another defensive back named Erik.

I know they really need secondary help....muahahahaha, I have a fairly decent player lined up for them right now..... Umm, yes. Did you not pay attention last year whenever he single-handedly beat the Seahawks on Monday Night Football? Or, how about when he rushed for over 800 yards last season, despite playing in only 8 games? Over 100 yards per game is outstanding, especially for a rookie that missed the entire first half of the season. Draft a running back for Dallas if you want to, but it will be a stupid pick. MiamiJet
Didn't they just give what's his face an extension? Edinger? If you're referring to him, yes, he was given a 5 year deal, but that was because Minnesota needed a kicker themselves, and since he was a restrcited free agent at the time, they offered him a contract. Angelo could not afford to lose him, so the deal was matched. It was a very affordable deal, so it didn't hurt the Bears. Edinger then went on to have a very mediocre season, and if Nugent were available, I could see Angelo nabbing him. Keep in mind Nate Kaeding was a 3rd round pick and had a great season(before blowing it in the Playoffs )

bitonti
GJ&H's pick description makes me laugh the only thing slightly unrealistic about that pick is it might take the bucs longer than 5 weeks to realize how BAD their new TE sucks
The Troll
Nugent was a great pick in that spot. Excellent value in a need position. Edinger has been terrible for a couple years now. I figure the first time he goes 1 for 3 next season, the Bears will Grammatica him.

MiamiJet
Great Job, MJ ... and you made my next pick easier because I was debating Nugent or Dreessen for hours Thanks, Ham. The Bears also need a tight end, but I couldn't pass up Nugent. Those conditions in Soldier Field are not too different from the Meadowlands and a kicker like Nugent is a necessity. I figure the Bears to have a much better offense this year, and with the moves they've made(new OC Ron Turner, Fred Miller, Muhsin, etc) a great kicker like this kid is the icing on the cake.

The Troll
Oh wow, if they have Edinger under contract for big money, that's a questionable pick TS catches everything, man Well, we have Brien under a big money, long-term contract. If we took Nugent, I wouldn't question that a bit. Edinger made 62% of his field goals last season. Not exactly getting the job done.

MiamiJet
Oh wow, if they have Edinger under contract for big money, that's a questionable pick TS catches everything, man It's not really big. Five years, 7 million, and 1.6 upfront. Doug Brien had a similar deal, with 6 yrs. 7.7 mil. Besides, the Bears have never really had cap issues. They could easily cut him after June 1 and spread out any cap hit.

TheBrodyMan
Floyd Reese is estactic about his draft so far. We've addressed so many needs with value, it's absurd: 1- Antrel Rolle 2- Ernest Shazor 3- Wesley Britt- (that was Ham's doing, but I meant to thank you for an awesome pick) 4- Josh Davis The Titans continue their excellent draft ways and expect it to continue through the rest of the draft
