StillerPaul
Me too, i view him as the best at his position in the draft. Reminds me of Freeney from the Colts.

StillerPaul
You guys are certainly making it tough for me at 30. I had my list narrowed down to 5 players i felt would make it to 30, i'm down to 2 now.

YJF
Some really good picks of late. I figured this draft would be done by now. Guess not. The Washington pick that I expect them to do was CB Adam "Pac Man" Jones. I think he went 16 in this draft. Skins need to replace Smoot. Plus who better to play on an island than a CB that runs a 4.2. Interesting pick by R44. Blackstock did not live up to his billing at Virginia. People were calling this guy, The next Lawrence Taylor. All the measurables are there for Blackstock. He's a first round talent. No question but I see him as a boom or bust type player. DeMarcus Ware is a nice pick recently. He's really starting to fly up draft boards. He helped himself at the combine. With so many teams going to The 3-4. You are going to see alot of undersized college DE's going to OLB in the pros. One additional sidenote. Love Bitonti's pick of Brown. I think he's the best offensive lineman in the draft.
YJF
Where is Ham. He's got a Jets pick to screw up. Here's where he goes RB or WR. Bet the mortgage. Even though we don't need those positions.
stormshadow19
You're thinking of like a small school sleeper pick here, YJF?

Or a certain CB from out west who likes to choke at the combines.
YJF
I am playfully taking shots at Ham. He knows his stuff big time. But I gotta admit, I'm scared with him handling The Jets pick here. I'm Telling you, Ham thinks that The Jets need a RB or WR. No they don't and especially not here, They don't. This draft has played out exactly how I thought. The top CB's are gone. The top safety is gone. There are only a few areas where The Jets can go here.

Jetlag
I think so too. I know a certain position of need where almost all of the top guys are still there. I think we're on the same page here. There's definitely one spot that still has some good talent and would be a great pick by the Jets. Ham knows what's good I'm sure he'll do the right thing. Jetlag
Awesome choice Ham. I would've done the same exact thing. You take the LT at #26 if no one else is really there.

Jetsfan80
If nothing else, this is a good representation of a draft; the unpredictability of it all. All the draft gurus in the country could come together and come up with a consensus 1st round, but could easily be way off. Why? Because some GM's think way differently than the average fan. There will ALWAYS be a few surprise picks, with certain guys falling and others going much earlier than expected. That's why you can never say ''we can't get so and so, he won't be around'' or ''we shouldn't take him there, that's a reach'' because you never know how the board develops. I love the pick of Barron at 26. My first choice would obviously be Brown, but it is quite obvious to me that bringing in a potential franchise LT, either to start immediately or replace Fabini in time, is our biggest need at the moment. Sure, it would be nice to have a # 1 corner, but it is much more critical to protect our franchise QB with a LT that does NOT have a bad back rather than give Henderson a corner he may not need (after all, he IS a specialist in developing a secondary). Whether or not we sign an OT like Stockar McDougle or Victor Riley, we MUST bring in our future at LT via round 1 of the draft. Bradway MUST realize this and do so, or Chad may be on his back a LOT next season.
stormshadow19
Well... McDougle is a right tackle, for starters. And he sucks. Ham, as always, a great pick. And, I think I speak for the rest of us, in saying that we're all glad you didn't draft a RB or a WR from some D3 school

RSJ
Great Pick Ham You guys think A Jones could play right guard if the Jets picked Barron? He seems athletic enough. I really think Brandon Moore is average and an upgrade there would be nice.

If we drafted Barron and Jones was ready to step up, Fabini could play guard.

TomShane
I'll give sdl a chance if he comes back. My man Ham sent me the full draft order, so I'll put that up as soon as round one is done and we can keep going. If anyone wants to back out, let us knw at that time so we don't shaft the draft. btw, the Barron pick gave me a hard-on. No lie.
