Latinlawyer
I have seen several players in the NFL use a shaded Visor. Maybe Sanchez should use one to hide his eye movements and maybe that way he won't tip off who he is staring down. It wont help when he physically locks his head position to one side but at least the defenders won't see his eyes and maybe it will give him an advantage. Curious to see what my fellow JN'ers think? Vicious89x
Yes. I think so, he needs all the help he can get.
Jerichoholic
If beer goggles help pick up chicks ... it only stands to reason that a visor is the one thing between Sanchez and greatness
Aten
Anything that makes it harder for Sanchez to see the cornerbacks he's throwing to sounds good to me.

Latinlawyer
I wonder if this suggestion has ever been communicated to the Jets?! If not, well maybe this should be a consideration.
JoeWillie
I think he should wear his helmet backwards and, like Luke Skywalker, use "The Force" to complete passes. A quarterback's ability to scan the field and go through "read progressions" come with two things ... Pass protection and experience. Sanchez will get better as these two areas improve. Everybody talks about Manning's, Brady's and Brees' ability to scan the field and NOT lock onto one receiver, but that's much easier to do behind a good pass protection offensive line. I mean anybody who saw the NE/SD game last week will tell you that Brady had like 6 seconds to figure out where he wanted to throw the ball on a consistent basis, which is an eternity. Sanchez doesn't get nearly that amount of time, and as a result, has to much make a quicker decision which, for a young QB, is more conducive to "locking in" on one or two guys. He'll get better. JustInFudge
Stupid thread, you dont put anyone that good lucking behind huge black visor that takes up all his face. Its bad enough he wears a helmet. He'll get better. Math disagrees.

JustInFudge
Who's "Math"? Some dudes math who is really smart and can accurately rate the value of a Qb and predict the future. Where have you been?
Stonehands
You're telling me that a defender 20 yards away is reading his eye movements behind a facemask under the brim of the helmet and not the fact that his whole head is turned in one direction? Barcs
Math disagrees. Which math is that? The math that shows a higher completion percentage in his first 2 games than his average last season? The math that shows 100+ QB rating in the post season last year? Nah, he hasn't improved at all since his first game. LOL.

jaspegs
You can only wear the dark visor if you're black. It's an unwritten rule. Kinda like kickers and punters have to be white.
Larz
this is totally missing the point he needs to use his eyes as weapons of chicanery, and use them to move and manipulate the safeties

aec4
To wear a visor that is shaded, you actually need to have a medical reason why... yes, you need to petition the league.
