flgreen
Against the Raiders all the LB's sucked. I was surprised Westerman had any stats. I didn't see him

JetsFanInDenver
Last weeks performance on rushing reminded me of the game against the Raiders when the two M's were in the last season of their linebacking career. At one point in that game the Raiders ran like 8-9 straight times and kept marching down the field and we could not stop them.

JetsFan220
Our whole linebacking corps takes the blame! I actually think Calvin Pace is playing really well, glad to see him play for a full season (hopefully)

RutgersJetFan
I actually think Calvin Pace is playing really well, glad to see him play for a full season (hopefully) Pace and Scott have been good. JetsFan220
Pace and Scott have been good. Bryan Thomas in particular has been pretty awesome. Scott's increased production might be why Harris' numbers are down, maybe Harris is taking on Scott's old role of occupying blockers and freeing up space for other defenders
Matt39
Harris' and Scott's lack of lateral speed got really exposed on the power sweeps.
Obrien2Toon
But I thought he was supposed to be better than Bart Scott? yeah, and it's a joke he's on the banner over Scott. First off, he's not better, and Scott's the heart and soul of the D.

But I am not so sure they ran 16 straight times. Or its just that i tried to blank it out from my mind rather than live with the frustration! Or its just that i tried to blank it out from my mind rather than live with the frustration! I remember that game too. They absolutely did run it on every single play of the drive. It was probably one of THE most embarrassing defensive performances in Jet history.

Jetsfan80
Here's the recap from that game: http://sports.yahoo....gid=20031109013 The Raiders (2-7), off to their worst start since beginning 1-6-1 in 1964, opened the game with 21 straight rushes before Mirer completed a 17-yard pass to Jerry Rice almost 19 minutes in. Barcs
hmmmm, so if they don't run at Harris, how's he going to get tackles again? Did he whiff on any yesterday? I don't recall him missing any tackles, I thought Scott missed a big one, however. Our entire line was bad on Sunday, not just Harris. Rex will rekindle the defensive fire, just like he did after the 45-3 Patriots loss last year. Edited September 27, 2011 by Barcs

Barton
I still remember this guy picking off Brady in the 1st drive of the game last postseason and running out of gas after 5 yards. How out of shape is he? Solid player but his best season was his rookie year.
