Now, I knew I would slip to around 15 during these 4:00 games, Fitz is my only WR/Player going. It's looking like I'll slip to around 25 before the 2nd half of these 4:00 games are over and done with. From there? Maxman Posted October 2, 2011 Author Share Posted October 2, 2011 This is pretty cool. We are going to do another one with them next week (Free Roll) with the same prize break down. Then they will offer pay leagues but the prize money will depend on how many people sign up. I only placed 11th during the first week we did this here, and earned a free $5.00 just for beating "the expert". With that 5 dollars, I entered a 10 man league, only 1st place gets paid. Ended up finishing 1st and won a quick $45. Both Pettigrew and the Lions defense came through for me last night. With this $45, I'm about to join a couple more leagues for this weeks games and see how I can do. They have 50/50 leagues, where as long as you finish better than half the league, you win some money. They have head to head matchups, which has to be considered your best chances of winning. And of course I hope we have the JN tourney once again, because there is nothing better than trying to win money for free in fantasy sports ahah. Speaking of the JN league, I didn't do so well this past weekend. Only finished 27th out of 60+. Not good. To make a long story short, if I could turn $5 into $45 after only 1 week of playing... A 5 player contest with $5 down. Chance to win $22.50 A 5 player contest with $10 down. Chance to win $45 A 10 player contest with $5 down. Chance to win $45 A 50/50 contest, 10 players. $25 down. Chance to win $45; 5 players walk away with nothing, top 5 leaves with $45. Hopefully I walk away with 157.50. And with that 157.50, I'll join a boat load of 50/50 leagues. But yeah, it looks like we're not having another JetNation contest this weekend? Which sucks, becuase nothing beats a freeroll. Right now I'm playing with house money, but hopefully I don't lose tomorrow, because I'm already hooked with FanDuel.Com. I don't like to gamble, that's the thing, because when it comes to my own money? I never know when to walk away. But yeah, hopefully you can work some magic Max... And another JN contest going!
