jason423
Why would any team trade Jared Allen? Because they are about to enter rebuilding mode and there is no need to have a 30 year old pass rusher set to make 11.6 and 14.3 million in the next two years on the books with cap charges of 14.2 and 16.9 million. The Pats are a perfect match because the defense is awful, they have no pass rush, and tons of draft picks to trade away. NE has drafted so badly for the last 4 or 5 years that its worthless for them to hold onto them at this point if they can get a guy like Allen

Not great, not hideous. Mayo, Gronkowski, Hernandez, Chung, etc. One could say it's been as good, or bad, as the Jets'. Really, take off the green colored glasses and see it for what it really is. Anyway, I am all for this trade. And, I would LOVE Lloyd if it means releasing that jerk-face Ochocinco. Make it happen, Bill!

JetsFanFromQueens
One could say it's been as good, or bad, as the Jets'. Really, take off the green colored glasses and see it for what it really is. What a troll. Since 2006. Revis: Greatest CB since D.Sanders. Ferguson: All-Pro LT. Mangold: All-Pro Center. Harris: All-Pro MLB. Leon: All Pro kick returner The patriots could only DREAM of having that type of success during the draft. We could be talking about 3 future HOF players in Revis, Ferguson and Mangold. Sanchez: Our franchise QB. Greene: Our feature back. Keller: Top 10 pass catching TE. Brad Smith: Wildcat/KR You all can't even match that. Slauson: Starting LG. Eric Smith: Nothing special, below average Safety. Drew Coleman: Solid CB. Stuckey: Solid slot WR. Lowery: Very good safety. Joe McKnight: Explosive talent. Great kick returner. Conner: Our starting FB. Wilkerson: Looking like a future BEAST at DE. Kerley: Looks to be the slot WR we've wanted for years on end. You all can't even match that. The Jets have been to the AFC Championship game during consecutive seasons, and that's because we've built our entire team through the draft. The Patriots CAN NOT say the same. NE draft's have suck, suck, sucked.

What does the Pats drafting bad since 2006 (and its been terrible---if they had any good drafts from 2006-2009 they would have on 2 more super bowls) have to do with the Jets drafting. The Jets draft have sucked since 2008. The best player has been Dustin Keller who is an average TE in the NFL.

JetsFanFromQueens
The Jets draft have sucked since 2008. The best player has been Dustin Keller who is an average TE in the NFL. I disagree. The Jets drafts haven't sucked. Sanchez may not be a Brady, Manning, Rivers, Brees type of elite QB, but then again, he's only a young 3rd year QB. The book has yet to be written on Sanchez, but he is a franchise QB, and he's also a winner who plays lights out during pressure situations. Just because our O-Line has sucked this season, doesn't mean Shonn Greene, our feature back "sucks". Shonn Greene has been a beast over the past two years, especially come postseason play. Slauson is no Faneca, but he's been a fine young LG. He's still developing. We've ranked top 5 in rushing during consecutive seasons. This boy can run block. Young talent such as Joe McKnight and Jeremy Kerley look to have plenty of promise. Wilkerson looks to be the TRUTH as a rookie 3-4 DE. Also can't wait to see K.Ellis take the field as our potential-future 3-4 NT. Kyle Wilson has been OUTSTANDING thus far through 5 weeks as a 2nd year player. The Jets draft's have "sucked" since 2008? My a$$ bro.
