Obrien2Toon
not a bad comparison. Except Farrior was never as bad as Maybin was for Buffalo. He was solid for us, just not 1st round worthy.
NYJets90
Problem with Farrior though was for years he was out of place when they stuck him at 3-4 OLB when he should've been at ILB. He wasn't bad.

NYJ37/12
Farrior goes 255lbs this kid is maybe 230 wet. long way to go before the farrior comparisons.

Secret is safe for me. Farrior goes 255lbs this kid is maybe 230 wet. long way to go before the farrior comparisons. Not sure they where comparison players as much as situation of being on one team and being sucky or average and going to another team and making an impact. villain_the_foe
I believe in this kid. Me too. We're finally going to be on the good side of those "Steals". We've let go some damn good talent in our day. I think we may have landed one with a chip on his shoulder to boot.

Kleckineau
I am thrilled for this guy. Seems as if the football gods sent him to NYJ to make up for the Vernon Gholston disaster.
RutgersJetFan
That sack he had is exactly why guys with his athletic ability get drafted so high. Accelerating back up to that speed after cutting around a 300+ pound behemoth is a pretty rare thing. Still a limited dude, but all in all he's turning into a nice little toy to have. sirlancemehlot
Hey, did you see the part where he actually took an inside route to the QB? In-side. Wierd. I've never seen him do such a thing.
Ghost
I ******* love this guy. He was constantly rushing the QB. Can you guys imagine how good this kid can be if he he finds a go-to move, gains some weight, and a year of experience? Buffalo Blows!
TNJet
I love this kid. He has proven he belongs in the nfl with the jets. The great motor is shown every week each time he rushes the passer. Even when he doesnt record a sack, hes applying adequate pressure to inflict hurried throws and miscommunications. Lets see, he had 2 sacks today right? Including the the one at the end that caused the game sealing fumble...Is that 7 sacks in 8 games for Aaron? whats his sack/game ratio????
#27TheDominator
So we signed him for a year right? How much is this gonna cost us to retain him? Not much. He should be an RFA. We can tender him.

Not sure they where comparison players as much as situation of being on one team and being sucky or average and going to another team and making an impact. Problem is, Maybin isn't likely to ever be an every down player because of his size. At present, he's earning his role and then some though. If the Jets could play with a lead he could really do some damage late in games! He just never stops....amazing how hard he plays.
pointman
Not much. He should be an RFA. We can tender him. Seriously??? Awesome. I was worried it was gonna be a big pay day... hence us letting him walk.
TNJet
The Farrior comparison couldnt be farther from the truth. Farrior was better once he got to pittsburgh agreed. Yet he was never a total bust in NY, but he was a constant starter in the middle, and very adequate. Maybin couldnt even get on the freakin field in Buffalo. He'll be playing for his big pay day in 2012. I'm not too worried about contracts. That's Tannenbaum's strength.
