Schmidt
With the Jets trailing 28-13 in the third quarter, Sanchez led the Jets into Eagles territory on their first possession of the half, but on 3rd-and-6 from the Eagles 39-yard line, Sanchez threw incomplete to Plaxico Burress and looked to be in severe pain after getting hit by Eagles defensive end Jason Babin, who I bet will be fined BUT again no FLAG!!! Clearly Sanchez was hit in the chin by Babin's helmet! Kansas City's Jovan Belcher fined $15,000 for hit on Mark Sanchez this is the third time this season an opposing defender has been fined for a hit on Mark Sanchez. Baltimore's Haloti Ngata was fined $15,000 in Week 4, and Denver's Von Miller was fined $25,000 in Week 11. Ngata was NOT flagged and neither was Von Miller. stoicsentry
I was surprised that wasn't a flag. Looked like clear helmet to helmet contact. A free first down there might have altered the momentum. The NFL is becoming more and more like the NBA with these refs subjective judgement calls.
RutgersJetFan
This is what happens when you treat refs like Rex has. Not surprising at all.
Jetfan13
This is what happens when you treat refs like Rex has. Not surprising at all. Thats BS. If a ref can't be neutral in his decisions then he is in the wrong business. Why bother even having any.
Aten
I can't believe there's still somebody who'd care if Sanchez got his head knocked off.
RutgersJetFan
Thats BS. If a ref can't be neutral in his decisions then he is in the wrong business. Why bother even having any. Because life isn't fair? 'Tis the way the sports world works. Superstars will always get the calls, and coaches who throw their headsets down and berate officials on national television won't. Pretty much the universal standard in all pro sports.

The Gun Of Bavaria
Underachieving teams barely clinging to their playoff life due to their own ineptitude and team failures have more to deal with than not getting a flag here and there. Let's concentrate on the real issues: a) A defense whose new nickname is "The Maginot Line" as a clueless Eric Smith sits in the deep secondary yelling, "Where did all these f--king Germans come from?" A regressing QB who can't properly follow his pass progressions, has lost his touch on the ball and seems to be in well over his head. c) An offensive line that couldn't stop molasses from flowing uphill in the midst of a cold winter day. d) A WR corps that couldn't catch syphilis....ok, bad analogy, they probably already have syphilis. e) A clueless, rigid and otherwise incompetent coaching staff led by a head coach who would rather be a player's buddy than their coach. A coaching staff that has consistently shown an inability to make quick, on-the-go game plan modifications. Why is it that it always takes halftime before any f-ing adjustments can be made? f) A head coach who can't keep his mouth shut.
Schmidt
We had TWO or was it THREE roughing the passer calls against us vs Vick. One where our D-Lineman pushes with two hands to the shoulders and another where the hit on Vick was clearly to the numbers and Vick tucked his head....I'm just saying be consistant. All of the calls could have changed each game (Except maybe Balt.)
JerryK
This stuff is annoying, but I believe in winning by large enough margins that we don't need the refs. Edited December 20, 2011 by JerryK
NYJ37/12
I can't believe there's still somebody who'd care if Sanchez got his head knocked off. He is one of the few members of our team that actually cares about the outcome. We should have twenty more players like Sanchez. There is about five members of your circle jerk clan that continues to spew the same garbage week in a week out, its old. Get a life already, or a new team. Bleedin Green
It's not just the Jets. This NFL season has been without question the single worst officiated season in the history of pro sports. There's not a single one of these guys that deserves to still have a job after this year's postseason is done. These guys are having far too great of an influence on games with calls that are irrefutably wrong. Nobody deserves to keep their job when they're as awful at it as these clowns are. Matt39
Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, asked about the upcoming Christmas Eve battle with the NY Giants: “It’s important for both sides. Our playoff picture is still bright. Our future is bright. These next two weeks are huge. This is a short week, Christmas, there’s a lot going on with the holidays and family. There’s plenty of distractions." Oh good.
RutgersJetFan
WTF? where has Rex mistreated the refs other than going ballistic against the Ravens? Did it in the preseason, a few times last year too. Regardless, calling a TO just to yell at a ref just one time is pretty much all it takes anyways. RutgersJetFan
So are you back, or did you pay some gaucho to borrow his iPhone? Chilling in Arequipa till the AM until heading out trekking into the mountains again. Nice town, good wifi, was unfortunate enough to catch that abomination on Sunday. Believe it or not American Football is pretty popular here. Also, yelling out " **** you Sanchez" in South America doesn't go over as well as you'd think it would.
