The Gun Of Bavaria 208,706
Misery and sadness seems to be in full-swing this past month. Just can't imagine. I feel for the family and countless other families in the same situation.
T0mShane 142,177
That's horrific. RIP and condolences to the family. As a practical matter, I don't see how you can ask the guy to come to work anytime soon. Real life could really impact the playoffs here. Perspective and whatnot. Possible the guy might welcome working to put this awfulness out of his mind, if only for a while. His pain is never going away.

indygirl4jets 10,321
Having lost my brother a few years ago to drowning, I can tell you that he is going to need to do something to get his mind off of his son's last few minutes. It wouldnt surprise me to see him back at work this weekend.

sirlancemehlot 32,595
Just a tidbit on Michael Philbin, whether its pertinent to this story or not is up to you. Michael Philbin was convicted in 2009 of sexaully assaulting two teenaged girls. He also was convicted of battery in the incident. Don't know the circumstances and can't judge his character based on the little information available about it. But it certainly gives me pause in mourning his loss. The family, however, still has my condolences regardless. Must be a horrible time in their lives right now.
