next week. For the whole week. Should be fun and expensive. Going for work so the trip is free, hopefully I have luck gambling and the whole thing is worth it! :)

I've lived in Las Vegas. Are you going to play craps and blackjack, or will you play the slots with the wife?

My wife will be in NJ with the kids. Still doubtful that I will be playing craps. Blackjack is a definite though.

7 days is a lifetime in Vegas. Just budget your gambling finances, only play what you are willing to lose, and learn when to walk away when you are ahead. There's nothing worse than blowing all your money and then having to spend the next 5 days broke, or worse yet, hitting the ATM machines.

If you have time and transportation take a 1/2 day and drive out to see Hoover Dam. It's a terrific spot and a marvel of human engineering. Take the tour if it's possible. Hit downtown one night. Much different than the strip and more like the old Vegas. (My first trip was in 1980, my last was last winter).

The food in Vegas used to be the pits but now it's loaded with world class joints. Do some research and you'll be richly rewarded.

Agree that craps is a blast if you have a decent bankroll. read and learn basic strategy, only play the pass and come line with full odds and you are essentially playing with the same odds as the house. Same is almost true with blackjack if you learn to play perfect basic strategy game. They even sell little cheat sheet caards in the gift shops that tell you which hands to hit, stay, double, or surrender. Learn those two games and you can make some money. I've never lost money in over 30 trips to various casinos playing both BJ and Craps.

The Omelet House for breakfast. It aint pancakes, but its good, the Police eat there.

The Mirage or Caesars sportsbook. Can you place a bet for me on the Pats to win the 2012 season Super Bowl?

I will take that bet myself.

JGBs/Little JGBs trying to get me to go..

They always stay at Bellagio and love it.

I was at Harrah's this time. Stayed in Caesar's last year that was much nicer. Going back there with my Dad hopefully sometime this year!

Being in Vegas for work isn't nearly as much fun as being there on vacation.
