Maxman
This is good for Red Sox fans, at least they will have a reason to watch games in the 2nd half of the season now.

Given how good Tampa should be, this is important to Yankees fans as well. As well as many other fans. Come on.

The yankees will have two 20 game winners in their rotaton this year. And another two that win at least 15.
Bugg
They could've fixed the system by giving the top seed 4 home games in the first round, and giving the WS home field to the team with the better record. baseball has the longest season; it's enough of a test. It should reward regular season success. Instead they diminish the regular season by adding one game. Selig is again a collasal a$$hole.
CrazyCarl40
The yankees will have two 20 game winners in their rotaton this year. And another two that win at least 15. Two twenty game winners? Really? CC could get 20 wins as long as he stays healthy, but he's only done that once in his career. It's not as easy as one thinks. Kuroda has never won more than 13 games and in the lesser league. Who knows how that will translate. Nova should win 15 and maybe even more, but 20 is a stretch. Pineda is an unproven but has loads of talent. He could win 15 this year so long as he builds his endurance for an entire season and doesn't get too battered playing in a hitters park and in a deeper division. Phil Hughes or Freddy Garcia winning 20? Haha.
vanDoug
I like this move. It gives the Cubs one more playoff possibility that they won't get.
