It will be interesting to see what kind of suspensions are handed out for the Flyers, Penguins mess yesterday. Crosby really put the NHL in a tough spot seeing how they kiss his a$$ 24/7. By flinging that glove he turned a rough game into a complete brawling fiasco. Deosn't matter; Bettman will send him a fruibasket and pretend their poster boy is still a wonderful human being. Hagelin desrves a game but 3 is absurd. PArt of this is about Tortarella calling the NHL office out about their Pens cheerleading nonsense. Having said all that, the Rangers are now in a fight for their playoff lives because they stopped playing offense with a 1 goal lead and their power play is pathetic. it's tillw ell within their grasp, starting tonight. I watched the NCAA title game, and while it's relative to the competition, Kreider is big, fast and ran the BC power play point. Possibly Tortarella can get his head out of his a$$ long enough to use the guy instead of ignoring him like he did with Zuccarello for 60 games. And Simmonds was the instigator of the second melee to begin with. The only thing that happened yesterday that I have a real issue with was Asham. Can't do what he did. LEAN_ETC_GANGGREEN_MACHINE Posted April 24, 2012 Share Posted April 24, 2012 It was such b.s. and it changed the entire complexion of the series...but it was great seeing him back last night and the Rangers finally generating some offense and Kreider getting his first NHL goal. Prior to tonight their power play was: lose the face off, have the puck sent all the way back, go back down ice, have puck swatted all the way back...it was nice to see their powerplay finally get going.
