RyanBe_Tweetin
I legit think you're the best of the new posters here RyAn be Tweetin. You need to be tweetin that as well. Of course I agree..He's a misunderstood sleeper now.. <3 Mel Kiper bashes the Seahawks when they take Wagner but when the Pats do something dumb and take Tavon Wilson, he's a sleeper. I'd like to see Kiper's reaction if the Jets took him
SenorGato
Never broke 10 sacks (8). Next warren, Castillo, and Pryce broke ten IIRC. Bruce Smith.
Klecko73isGod
Never broke 10 sacks (8). Next Mick, the player Coples really best compares to is Shaun Ellis who broke 10 sacks as both a 4-3 DE and a 3-4 DE.

LionelRichie
Hill is a physical freak. I really hope the Jets don't plan on lining up with Hunter @ RT. And we still don't have anyone who can cover Gronkowski.

GREENLANTERN
Same Ole Jets! We need to get back to having an elite offensive line again. Far as I can see and remember the Jets current front office including scouting department isnt very good at picking high round players especially second round players. Is Vlad starting yet? /cough /cough. As I see it we need a RT and G. Maybe we can get one of them in round 3 maybe not. But trading away draft picks as THEY ALWAYS DO, is not the way to build depth. The Jets need every pick they can get and need to utilize them wisely. Tannenbaum and Bradway should leave the war room when the Jets are on the clock. Sorry but its all won and lost in the trenches and IT ALL STARTS UP FRONT. And unless you can call our OL & DL's elite we had no business picking a wide receiver. JMHO - Lantern

JMHO - Lantern The Jets are a player away from having one of the best OL's in the league yet again. And there is plenty of talent to be had in rd3. Jets 1st Rounders since 06 include - DBrick, Mangold, Revis, Keller, Wilson, Wilkerson, Sanchez and Gholston. Thats a very good list with 1 historic bust. There is a HOF'er in that group. They also found Harris in the 2nd. Pretty much the core of the team was built through the 1st and 2nd round.
SenorGato
No 4th and 5th rd picks. This is why we have depth problems. Ugh enough with the mourning of lost late round talent. They still have 4-5 day 3 picks.
BroadwayJoe12
So let me get this straight: If we draft Irvin or Ingram it's either: why do we draft someone who's not gonna be on the field for three downs, can't play the run or cover the TE/ why do we draft someone who has such short arms when in Ryan's standard base defense long arms are of utmost value when needed to shed blocks and set the edge. If you can't do that you are not playing three downs in Ryan's defense. Both guys would be a passing down's specialist and we already have that in Maybin. Stupid draft. Or if we draft Randle/Jeffrey it's: why get another possession receiver who can't stretch the field or get over the top on defenses so as defenses can't stack the box and jump our slants and in routes etc. etc. why didn't we get hill or quick who can actually get over the top. Is there someone we could have drafted where no one would have complained, outside of Luck?
New York Mick
warren, Castillo, and Pryce broke ten IIRC. Bruce Smith. It took long enough for someone to bring up Smith. Trust me I hope Copels plays half as good as Smith but Smith wasn't lazy. Anyway, I'm done busting on Copels, really happy with Hill. OLB or RB next. KSJets
Another thing I like about Hill is he most likely won't be a diva receiver. He seemed pretty excited to be drafted by the Jets. He's used to not getting a lot of passes, so he probably won't be the one throwing a fit.
RutgersJetFan
I think it's been fine, but I do find it odd that we've continued with the risk-reward guys when Tannenbaum's a$$ (at least) is likely on the line. Integrity28
Never broke 10 sacks (8). Next You didn't ask who had over 10 sacks. You said post their totals. 8 sacks is a lot, considering our 3-4 OLBs struggle to get to 8 sacks the past few years. I guess if you can't prove your point, you opt for shifting the focus to a different variable.

I think that means one of two things, either Tanny doesn't see his job to be at risk, or he knows his future is tied to the god awful QBs who currently make up this roster, so he's willing to gamble like crazy in hopes that if these guys become what they have the potential to be, it's the one chance he has to overcome that mess.
