Bruschi, stormed off the sportscenter set this morning after being asked about all this. he was hot.

I guess he really thought he was the most instinctive, gosh-darn-lucky ILB on the most instinctive, gosh-darn-lucky defense of all time.

Harbaugh is now (shockingly!) backtracking:

https://www.boston.c...ugh_backtr.html

While on the 98 Rock show this morning to talk about the run to honor O.J. Brigance and raise funds for ALS research, I answered a question about playing within the rules and referred to the perception that the Super Bowl championships won by the Patriots and Saints have a stain. My reference was to the perception out there that came as the result of the league's actions.

I could have been more clear that I was referring to those viewpoints. I totally believe that the Patriot and Saint coaches and players earned those championships. Bill (Belichick) and Sean (Payton) both know that.

There has been some distortion about what I said.

The original tweet indicated I pointed the finger at Bill Belichick and mentioned Bill's name. I did not. I have so much respect for Coach Belichick and the job he does and has accomplished in his Hall of Fame career. I called him to remind him of my respect for him. I also reached out to Tedy Bruschi, who rightfully defended those Patriot players and coaches on ESPN, to tell him that I agree with him that the Patriots earned every victory.

Just to clarify: unless they cut it from the later broadcast, Strokey didn't storm off. He did, however, completely fail to answer the question about cheating and spewed the expected boilerplate BS about how Spygate motivated them to win by 40, how he feels great about his three rings, and how Harbaugh should be more loyal. Strokey really is a raging redass blowhard.

Just curious, Harbaugh should be more loyal to who exactly? Is he not aware that Harbaugh was a coach on one of those NFC teams who lost in the Super Bowl to the Pats? Sounds like he's being plenty loyal to me.

Him and Rodney Harrison suck. Absolute blights.

Same logic Selena Roberts used when she blamed Mangini for the whole thing. Mentor's a mentor even when you've moved on and he's cheating to beat you. Loyalty!

maybe storm off was the wrong term, but when i watched in the 11 am hour, he pushed away from the table and was off set before the anchor was done talking and before they sent the show to commercial
