YJF Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 Sounds like The Jets are not willing to dole out any money for a big time free agent. They are strictly bargain hunting right now. I thought that once they lost out on Ferguson. That they would use that money to fill other areas. They decided not to. They still might but they didn't go after one high profile free agent this offseason. Most likely by design. Jets are not going to sign any RB's or WR's unless they have kick return ability. They should look to upgrade their secondary but it looks like, They will wait until the draft. It would be nice to fill up some holes before the draft and Putzier would have done that at The TE position but it didn't happen. The Jets don't have alot of cap room.
