So the NCAA takes a $60 million bribe for their bureaucracy tto spend to keep the PSU football program open. Thats' $60 million into the gaping maw of a bloated collection of hacks that will not be used to pay the victims instead.

The victims have been victimized again by the NCAA. This is the height of bullsh*t.

All the money is going to abuse based charities...

And it's not going to the victims. And why not?If the NCAA said the money had to be put into an account to pay the victims, fine. That would make sense. Instead the NCAA saw a chance to swoop in and steal a big pile of cash.

Who administers those charities? WHo in the NCAA will make those decisions? Will charities lobby the NCAA? And what overhead and expenses will be cut out by both? There are a lot of charities with wonderful-souding names that are basically scams and tax dodges for their adniministrators to live well. Anf the NCAA is not going to start flying JetBlue and Southwest nor stay in Motel 6. At the end of the day we'll get some slick ads during bowl games and basketball games about child abuse. Big f___ing deal. You could do something for real live victims of Sandusky with that money right now, but that's not the NCAA's agenda at all.

This is called larceny.

i'm afraid of being raped if i step foot on that campus

Relax. You're over 15 and Jerry is locked up.

Here is some bizarre stuff I stumbled across on the net though...

It appears Sandusky has a book you can buy from Amazon. It's appropriately titled "Touched" and a used book will cost you $150. New is going for close to $500.

Here's the cover: a_250x375.jpg

and a not too surprising image from within' it covers: jerry-sandusky-little-boy-instructional-video1.jpg Incredible, but true.

The worst thing , IMO, is that the kids there now, who did nothing wrong, are paying for this. Also the poor kid from HS who won't be able to get a scholarship now. It sucks all around. At least the NCAA got their cash pile. :shutit:

those kids could have transferred

i say let them rot and go 0-10

I heard the Prez of PUS was indicted today for perjury and child endangerment.

So much for thriving.

They suck ass

Some people in charge did some very stupid things. We can't change anything about that now, other than learn.

The football team was punished for those acts.

The fact that the group of young men are holding the program together so well speaks to their resolution and character.

The Miami program on the other hand.......

How exactly is that relevant? They haven't played in 17 years. Rutgers wasn't CLOSE to a top 25 program back then, PSU also didn't have crippling recruiting sanctions.

You guys worry about filling your little stadium there in NJ, and getting your program up to Big 10 standards. You are going to need to spend a little more money there. Then you can worry about competing with the Big boys.

Welcome to the conference.

Haha our "little program" has been outrecruting Penn St in NJ and PA for the last few seasons and is a win away from the BCS and that disparity will only get more pronounced in the next few years. NTM destroying you guys in terms of NFL quality players.
