SouthernJet
Seriously, in college there is no draft to get a team changing player. Going 1-10 or 4-7 doesnt really effect recruiting in college. In the pros, if you truly love your team and want them great in future than it makes sense at this point in season to want them to lose. There is noting anti-fan about that. Going 4-12 does NOTHING, while going 2-14 may get us a team changing player in draft. I didnt want this in beginning off season, but when you are sitting on 2-10 then , come on, LETS ROOT FOR FUTURE SUCCESS!!!! And by the way, we have the best coach in the NFL to get us to our goal of getting Reggie Bush.

Lord, Rome wasnt built in a day, but Reggie will be great for years,, so we re-build the OLine,, the EASIEST thing to build without top draft picks. What good iis it to rebuild OL with Curtis, when OL is better in a year or 2 we will have to get a RB anyways. So get Bush now and rebuild OL. Then in a year or 2 we will be formidable in running game. Several FA QBs out there that wont cost a arm/leg, or use Abraham as a trade chip if needed. Garb
Although no one knows for certain if Bush's uncanny skills can be just as effective at the Pro level - the man is an amazing talent. Mediocre o-line play is enough for Reggie to do his magic. That said, if Reggie is off the board when the Jets select in this years draft - it would be smart, imo, to trade down and get a couple of draft picks in return. BwanaZulia
Sorry, I still don't believe being the worst in the NFL gets you anything other than: - A first round pick which is usually a bust - A team that is emotionally drained - No chance at free agents - Years of rebuilding - Pissed off fans I much rather show some spark at the end of the season, end on a high note and take a 4/5th pick with something to build on. BZ "something to build on" as in having the same cast of chumps around next year for another glorious 4 win season? i hope we lose out but knowing the Jets they will win another game just to put themself in a worse situation next year with ZERO benefit this year. extra wins now are detrimental to all but the biggest homerhead. BZ Throwing games is the worst possible thing you could ever do to a team's gamesmanship, morale, work-ethic and chemistry.
