gangreenman
Just caught a TD in today's practice as a WR.... Discuss.
Jetsfan80
I mean, are we sure it was a legit TD throw, or did Sanchez just think that Cro was playing defense like usual?
gangreenman
I mean, are we sure it was a legit TD throw, or did Sanchez just think that Cro was playing defense like usual? Had to be legit. It was McCelroy. All Jets fans know that the 3rd string QB is always the best on our roster.

gangreenman
START THIS BEAST Wanna hear the funny part about it? Afterwards, McCelroy made a comment to the media saying it was confusing to see two green jerseys on that play. LOL.

whodeawhodat
If he is better than what we have over on the offensive side of the ball, get him over there. I would like to see our WR catch some 15+ yard passes this year.

faba
I was being sarcastic. Last thing we need is for him to get hurt playing offense to leave us shorthanded on defense which we will need to be very good it looks like to have some success this year
BroadwayJoe12
Not surprising, dude is athletic as they come, which is why he'll have a package designed to utilize that skill set. He's not going to play 70 snaps on that side of the ball, besides the difficulty of playing two-way ball, he's just not proficient at all levels of being a reciever. He's fast, can jump and has good hands, it's the same concept of putting WRs on the goal line during hail mary situations. Take advantage of his skill set, but doubtful you'll see him more than a handful of times a game.

We have so few playmakers on our team, might as well try to get the ball in their hands as much as possible.
pointman
On ESPN just now... Bart Scott called him a traitor, and said he was pushing off. lol. Revis said Cromartie is one of the most athletic guys in the NFL.
Drums
If he actually plays some plays, I think he can surprise a CB and sneak in a TD at least once or twice this year. I hate that we have to live on gimmick plays and players though.
Jetsfan80
I'd venture a guess that the minute Cro is asked to go over the middle in real game action, he'll show his true colors.
Jetsfan80
I hate that we have to live on gimmick plays and players though. When you don't have a legit starting QB, that's what you have to resort to. I don't care if we run a weird offense. If it limits turnovers, gives the D a rest, and scores points, do it. NJ
Not that we're overstocked with WR's, but I'd prefer to have him spend his time practicing tackling. Or in some type of psychological training environment learning how to want to tackle.

slats
Anyone?? I saw a tweet about Bellore (I think?) playing offense, but no word about what position he played. My guess would be FB or TE in short yardage.
