Losing her job for posting something online that was tasteless and stupid? having her life put in jeopardy? Sorry. I disagree completely. Yes. She is a moron for what she posted. Yes. She deserves to have her posts spread throughout the internet. But... she doesnt deserve to have some knuckleheads calling her job and threatening it. She doesnt deserve to lose her livelihood over dumb comments. I dont understand why people think its acceptable to answer a classless/tasteless comment with their own classless/tasteless comments. You want to put that crap in the public sphere, you face the consequences of those actions. I never post anything anywhere on the web that I wouldn't say to somebody's face. I, too, am shocked by what I'd say to people's faces, but if I wouldn't say it, I don't put it out there, plain and simple. Regardless, it's clear that I was wrong about where she was from, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the majority of townies I've met from south boston, share similar traits to her...well, not her JHU degrees. Just so we're clear, the same could be said about a lot of places in new york, I'm just pointing out that I wouldn't be all that surprised she said something like that as I've experienced much, much worse at Fenway.
