Alright I just bought it. I actually clicked on the ad on the front page and ordered it.

I need to have it before the first Howard show launches. I think his show will be really good over there.

Welcome to the club.

Channel 124 will do you justice my good man. Plus channel 2 and 62 are all christmas songs!!

I listened to some MP3s of O and A over there. They are funny but I basically decided to follow Howard. And the NFL Network was a pretty good feature as well.

I was just all about the $28 receiver. I really didn't care about Howard or the NFL.

Oh we know you bangwagon fan.

 No, I actually grew tired of Stern about 3 years ago. I already paid good money for the Sunday Ticket, so I'll be damned if I'm going to be driving down the road in my car listening to a damn football game instead.

I got XM, and so far so good. Also, Directv added XM to their system over their music channels, so O&A are on channel 798 or something.

Based on the Wall Street Journal article this week, even with Stern, XM sold more untis in the last month than Sirius.

Stern is now as pathetic as the very people he used to make fun of. A 55-year old rich guy with long hair wearing hip hop clothes is embarrassing. "I INVENTED breathing Robin. Photosynthesis too!Tell'em Fred!"

Keep on getting that Sirius radio guys.

I own some stock in the company. It's been ood to me so far, and I think it will be better this time next year, after Stern and co. do their thing.

Every time you guys jump on board, I hear the cash register ringing. :D

I got the starmate replay. It came with the car kit. There is a home kit for $40 because I passed on it.

Not sure why I need to plug it into the receiver at home. If I can just pick it up on a FM station. So I held off on that.

The wife is getting me Sirius for Christmas also. One question: Do you need separate units for the car and the house or is it interchangeable?

You can use the same unit, but you will need separate docking stations. The car one hooks into your lighter and the home one plugs into the wall. Both docking stations come with separate antenae.

I have had Sirius for a month and am very happy with it. You can get addicted switching through the music channels. Raw Dog comedy is pretty good to listen to. It plays uncensored stand up routines. My whole family loves satellite because of the screen that tells you what is currently playing. The only weak part about the whole set up is the fact that you have to be concerned with reception (similar to Dish TV).

Well well...Merry Christmas to myself!!

(I KNOW that wasn't a gift for Mrs Max!!!!)

I bought mine because the little doggie icon is waaaaaay cooler than the little XM satellite icon. :^o

Good purchase, you'll enjoy it!

I'm with you, Alk. I've had XM for well over a year now and I totally love it. It came down to picking the bboys (O&A) over the other one. I got satellite before Stern even announced his deal. I really wanted it for country music because there are no such stations in the NY-NJ area.

I listened to Hoo Hoo for about 12 years and finally gave up on him a couple of years ago. The value of his show changed, IMO, when he got divorced and started banging hot chicks and going to Nobu every night. The regular, common man does not relate to that as much as the old Howie.

Thanks for the info. I am fed up with 3 minutes of tunes/sports and then 5 minutes of commercials. I'm coming over!
