Jetsfan80
Why would ANYONE want this over-paid pussy choke artist representing America anyways?
Jet/BosoxFan
Why would ANYONE want this over-paid pu$$y choke artist representing America anyways? As a fan of baseball AND my beloved country...I wouldnt care about the over-paid prima donna part of it. I just dont want to see Alexander the Great up at the plate with ANT kind of pressure on! Perish the thought!
Blackout
Why would ANYONE want this over-paid pu$$y choke artist representing America anyways because he's the best shortstop in MLB history since Honus Wagner?
Jetsfan80
because he's the best shortstop in MLB history since Honus Wagner? Wagner won a ring and performed in the clutch. A-Rod would manage to choke the gold away from the USA if he had chosen to play.

Wagner's career playoff stats: .275 BA A-rods career playoff stats: .305 BA i dont buy it. Wagner played on some legendary Giants teams with McGraw at the helm, I say championships are a team accomplishment Williams, Cobb, Bonds*, Griffey, Gwynn, Mattingly etc. never won championships but nobody doubts their talents (except for Bonds* hehe)

He was a Pittsburgh Pirate for life. Wagner's Pirates were never as good as Mathewson's Giants, either.

Wagner's Pirates were never as good as Mathewson's Giants, either. my bad, you're right. Wagner's manager was Fred Clark, who should never be mistaken for McGraw hahahaha But none the less, Honus didn't do any better in the post-season than A-rod neither did Ted Williams (.200 avg in his only world series), or Ty Cobb (.262 batting average in 3 world series) for that matter

Why don't we compare WORLD SERIES numbers between the two then, since that's all the "postseason" used to be? Honus Wagner: .275 A-Rod: N/A Wagner wins. Mavrik
Wagner didn't live in the Balco Era either.... I guess not a bad decision by A-Rod. He doesn't want to disrespect either his country or his heritage, which is understandable.

Mavrik
I think MLB should skip the WBC I gaurantee you that come time to play, this WBC is going to attract WORLDWIDE attention. People, especially in the Caribbean, and in Japan where they want to prove they are as good as the players in the states, are going to be really into this and supporting their teams 110 percent. This is going to be a success, but it defeinitely needs to be every 4 years.
