Mark Cannizzaro Fan Chat Transcript By Jets Insider.com Staff mail@jetsinsider.com December 15th, 2005 [THE_SOOTHSAYER] 7:50 pm: Good Evening Folks! Welcome to the Jets Insider.com chatroom and welcome Jets Insider/NY Post Jets writer Mark Cannizzaro. Thanks for joining us, Mark [Mark Cannizzaro] 7:50 pm: Hello everyone out there...pleased to be here again! [sAR I] 7:51 pm: Mark....first off, I'm a big fan of yours and think you're the most objective Jets print writer. That said, I'm frustrated by the fact that the NY media seems to give Herman Edwards a free ride and have the following question: Is it not true that Bill Parcells left Herm a very talented group of players and that Herm's underachieved with good talent moreso than overachieved with mediocre talent? Isn't he given too much credit for seeking out 9-7 type wildcard seasons when another coach might have gotten a lot more out of the squad? [Mark Cannizzaro] 7:53 pm: Sar, I do not think herm has underachieved. I do think he

You know how it is over there  And, I've gotta ask... was there only like seven people in that chat? Just seemed like the same people asking the same questions. Maxman
sorry max, did not know it was top secret data. No I have no problem with it being posted. If anything maybe it will give JI a little more exposure and increase Premium Membership profits. All I am saying is if they have a problem with it, they should let me know directly. There is no reason we can't all get along and play nicely.

I didn't mean it as a slight, though it came off that way. It was just an observation. Maybe, many of the faithful just didn't have anything to ask (like myself)? I dunno... I was under the impression that all these types of chats were under the premium umbrella.

Scott Dierking
Why do the JI transcripts seeme so jumbled and out of order, while the JN transcripts are neatly edited to go Question-Answer-Question-Answer........ What do they teach at transcript school on this-Is it leave it as it happened, or help the reader. Maxman
Oh man, that is funny. Here is the Jetnation philosphy: No transcript will be posted without being edited and bolded. You know what? It takes time and it isn't easy....but it is worth the effort. Because it gives the reader a more enjoyable experience. We will never edit CONTENT from the chat. Here is Chapter One of the text book: R44: Herm's record during inclement weather games is 34% below the league average. Do you feel this is due to lack of continuity on game day amongst the staff? Smizzy: I just farted Rich Cimini: Oh crap....uh....yes, I totally knew Herm sucked in bad weather. And I agree about the continuity thing. Glenn Foley: My snake just bit me. Fred Jetstone: Where did I put that Bollywood doll? It should read: R44: Herm's record during inclement weather games is 34% below the league average. Bugg
7x55+$385.00.If only more of us signed up, the transcript might be more coherent. Content-wise, Canizzaro must have Herm Edwards as his Kris Kringle out at Hofstra. He's gone from a decent reporter to Edwards' chief apologist. He's gone Dennis Hopper to Edwards' Colonel Kurtz-he's gone totally native. "Teams have never flourished with a 3rd string QB". Hwck, Canizzaro was here when in 1999 Lucas got the Jets to 8-8, right? Hermie says the middle word in "Life" is "If", MAN!

SlugORama99
Max, Is it possible that this was one of the edited out posts from that very informative chat? [PAID_$55_4_THIS] 8:50 pm: Mark, is it true that you went back, not once, but twice, to the half-time buffet to glutton four more mustard laden hot dogs during the Raider game? [Mark Cannizzaro] 8:50 pm: paid$55, Herm said I could.

RSJ
Is cannizaro a reporter or a PR person hired by the edwards camp? And what do you think cannizaro does in his spare time when he is not bouncing up and down on herms cock? JI should be embarrased that someone let that junk leave thier site with thier name on it. That is the biggest rag tag bullsh*t I have ever seen. I wouldn't pay the 50 cents to read that junk in the post let alone $55 to read it on fatasses site. f him and f cannizaro too. Bugg
Sion Pouha might have some experience in sacrficing the water buffalo. Don't know who gets to do the Martin Sheen act of smearing himself with camo and whacking Edwards. But it's gotta get done. aec4
You know what the WORST thing is? People pay $55 to read his columns when they can do it for FREE on the Post's website. What's that you say, they promise content that you won't read anywhere else? Think about it. The Post is his main job. I'm sure the Post pays him 100X what JetsOutsider.com pays him. If he was giving scoops to the JetsOutsider.com crowd, and not to the Post, don't you think the Post would fire him? In other words, you are paying $55 for absolutely nothing. Bugg
It's win/win for Canizzaro and Sooth. They get to split $55 per sucker for JI to brag they're getting "inside info" and Canizzaro gets to wet his beak with today's recycled stuff from the Post. Plus, best I can tell, Canizzaro is now Edwards' press agent. Writing when the team was 2-9 that Edwards deserved a contract extension was beyond embarrassing; it was a sign that Canizzaro is totally in the bag for Edwards. Heck, wouldn't be surprised if Canizzaro and Hermie carpool based on all the written backrubbing. Do you really think if Canizzaro came to know some major stuff he's going to jeopardize his relationship with the HC? Doubt it. Lately it's become ridiculous. Is her serving his readers straight talk or covering up for the fiasco over which his buddy now presides? Instead, we get this MORONIC idea that the Jets should start a 34-year old running back coming off knee surgery(and is surgery ever pronounced "unsuccessful" on the day they do it?) in 2006 because he's a good guy. At JI"Super top insider" you are in fact paying for nothing. If there's a major story, Canizzaro is breaking it through the Post or their website, not on JI. And if he didn't and went through JI, he'd soon be an ex-NY Post beat writer.
