Plus Shump is working out -- the recovery looks to be on track, back on the court after the holidays. And I have a feeling Amare will mesh with the team coming off the bench. Integrity28 Posted December 18, 2012 Share Posted December 18, 2012 There's a reason why Tebow does not have access to the entire playbook guy, He cant make all the throws, and he probably cant grasp all the plays and read all the coverages. Which is why he's never started a season as the starting quarterback, and why after a playoff run he was let go from the broncos. Sanchez can't make all the throws either. Sanchez's completion percentage is as low as Tebow's. Sanchez throws more INTs. Tebow can run the ball and secure it. Sanchez fumbles when he scrambles, even if he doesn't get hit. The Broncos let him go because they got the best QB in the games history. The Jets have 2 guys. Tebow is the lesser of two awfuls. This season is kaput, any casual fan knows you have to see what you have on the roster so that you don't pick up where you left off the previous year. This year, the Jets picked up exactly where htey left off last year. I'm just advocating giving Tebow a genuine look to understand what you have in the guy. The plays they just ran for him were set up to fail. It's a joke. I say this not as a Tebow fan, but as a Jets fan interested in preparing for the off-season. It's time to see what the depth can do. The best franchises in this league have a "next man up" infrastructure. The Jets don't trust half their starters, let alone their depth.
