AVM
Positive result from play action pass on first down. Who would have thought that? Really? One play? Negative result from allowing Sanchez to throw ever, on the pick 6. See, we can do that too.
Bleedin Green
Powell at least breaking off some nice runs today. Of course it is against the Bills.

Il Mostro
You know what the plus side is of seasons like this one? You get to just kick back, relax and laugh your ass off at games like this. I am on pins and needles -- there is a chance the Jets win this game.
CrazyCarl40
1 -- McElroy is awful too. 2 -- You realize players don't always get better and, in fact, sometimes get worse. Right? 1. I agree. 2. Yes but what is your point? Doesn't matter how good the QB is if the offense is predictable and vanilla.

What are you talking about? You aren't amazed by Sanchez having one positive play against one of the league's worst defenses? It's miraculous! Doesn't matter how good the offense is if the QB is awful. You need both. There's no "but" in this equation. The play calling and QB play are equally awful, and a Super Bowl can't be one with either one -- no matter how good the other is.

CrazyCarl40
Makes sense, the guy is a turnover machine..so throw more....thanks Carl. You're welcome. How about throwing when the defense isn't expecting it and actually helping the QB succeed, no matter who it is? How about passing on unconventional downs like so many other successful teams do? No. Let's run, run pass and throw some wildcat in there because that's done so well. It's a joke.

Maybe it is a vanilla offense. But with these guys at receiver, I still think a competent QB would put the offense in the top 20 or 25. Just a little accuracy-----PLEASE!!! I'm not saying throwing like Matthew Stafford out there but change it up on first down once in a while to keep the defense honest and help the QB. And changing variables for a young QB is not a good thing and doesn't help your positioning.
