GlennFoley
We had such great rhythem on offense!! Why the hell did Herm spike the ball? He gave their defense a chance to rest.. 3 straight desperation plays??? on a 1st and 5? What was that Dinger'? You think he would learn that the fade route sucks after the San Diego game... nj meadowlands
We got ****ED on that play to Coles. Madison had his arm HOOKED. And the officials made the right call on the PAss Interference, despite what Solomon Idiot said. The defender ran into Cotchery without looking at the ball. By rule that is PI

That was absolutely ridiculous. Hermy and Dinger are complete idiots. The Jets had plenty of time (plus one TO left) to continue working the ball downfield. Pick up the 1st down for crying out loud, spike the ball and move on.

ANd they were given a GIFT with that 12 men. They should have run a 2nd and 5 draw. Houston was averaging like 6 a carry. Pitiful.

By rule that is PI I agree that Madison got away with one on Coles. However, the Cotchery ball was uncatchable. That should not have been a PI penalty. Smizzy
Houston was running the ball downhill all day. Why not give the kid the rock 1 time to get that 1st down? We had a chance to win a game we shouldn't even been in. Oh well.
nj meadowlands
TX i agreed at first but I just watched the play 5 times Cotchery definitely would have gotten to that ball if he didn't get nudged
Matt39
Houston should have been given the ball. He looked good all day. Jets played hard. WHatever, I am over it.
faba
this reminded me of the San Diego game -down close to score at the end of the game to win them and then playcalling that made no sense
PatsFanTX
TX i agreed at first but I just watched the play 5 times Cotchery definitely would have gotten to that ball if he didn't get nudged 80, Cotchery had his head swung around to the right. The ball was thrown over his left shoulder. If he could have gotten to that ball, it would have been a hell of an adjustment on his part. Bottom line, there was contact but I'm still not sure that he could have gotten to the football.
Barton
The refereers in this league must really have it out for Coles. Thats the 3rd f***ing time there was a noncall on an obvious PI in the endzone late in the 4th quarter.

Coles body screened him from seeing Madison lock his arm. A flag should have come from the offcial in the middle of the field. No way you can miss that from that angle. Barton
Ball was uncatchable. The Coles one? That ball was very catchable if Madison doesnt pull Coles away from getting to the throw. Coles would have caught that easy.
nj meadowlands
The ball was catchable as far as Cotch's distance from it... and I think that's what the penalty is based on... I don't know if they take into consideration where Cotch is looking-- if they do, then you're right TX. But if it's based on distance, he certainly would have gotten to it. Ikeyman3
The Coles one? That ball was very catchable if Madison doesnt pull Coles away from getting to the throw. Coles would have caught that easy. Ball landed 5 yards OUB. Shaq wouldn't have caught that pass.

And the pass was in the air right on the sidelines about 2 yards ahead of Coles.
stormshadow19
The Coles pass should have been PI. As should have the JCotch pass. They just got f*cked all the way over, is all.
