Sort of like in the latest Batman movie how Bane made the Gothamites think they could save themselves when in reality the bomb was going to blow in a matter of months anyways. SMC Posted January 8, 2013 Author Share Posted January 8, 2013 MOD NOTE: As I stated on the opening page, a Meeting Request will suspend the voting while I discern whether the request has been granted or denied. Thereafter the voting will be resumed and the player who was granted a Meeting can still be lynched. It's not a means to avoid lynches as a sort of defacto governor role. It's a way to give players an incentive not to vote for the person because they deem the player valuable. So, rather than saying "Don't lynch me, I'm a roleless townie!" at L-2, you say, "Don't lynch me, I'm _____________, and I request a meeting!" That way players will think twice about dropping the last 2 votes. No one can reveal his/role role, but you can guess what it is. Also note, a single player can partake in multiple Meetings over a series of nights.
