SouthernJet Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 Found this whilst reviewing Government Tax info online: "If your immigration status doesn't permit you to work in the United States but you received an SSN solely to allow you to apply for or receive federally-funded benefits, your SSN isn't valid for employment."
