bman
Does NE have any blue chip pro bowlers on the O line? Or any top 5 picks... The Jets need to get a QB..If they miss out on Bush I think we need to trade the pick for Rivers.
GlennFoley
I agree.. The Job description for an Olineman doesn't warrant a top 5 pick.. Im just not a fan of D'Brickshaw Ferguson... Hes not even 300 lbs... Plus the guy sucks.. Hes always injured, and got mauled when I saw him vs Miami.. Hes all hype.. Mankins is the only first round pick on the OL and he was drafted this past season. Koppen, a budding all-pro center was a 5th round pick. Matt Light was drafted in the second round. Kaczur is the only other player drafted and I think he went in the 3rd or 4th this year. The rest were taken off the scrap heap. Hochstein was Warren Sapp's practice dummy in Tampa. Neal was a college wrestler they put on the practice squad for nearly two years. Tom Ashworth and Brandon Gorin are another team's washouts, but have seen alot of time. It is all about coaching and Scarnecchia is one of the best OL Coaches.

Seems like drafting lineman fairly early worked for them. And BTW, how many blue-chip pro-bowl lineman can you recall off the top of your head?
