afosomf
Bush will have to pull an Eli and refuse to play for Texans/69ers/Saints, if we can get to 2nd slot and SF is behind us, I'm sure Texans will take Abe and our 2nd slot and trade for massive amount of picks. I'm hoping Bush wants no part of 69er mess as well, he would make millions in NY!!!! Bush would be the rebirth of this franchise, out with the garbage, get a new FO and watch this kid create excitement like never b4!. It gives me goose bumps just thinking of him in green. We could all tolerate 1 more rebuilding year with a brand new OL and QB. I could even handle A Brooks for 1 year or 2, provided we draft a young stud within 2 years. I would also give #1 pick in 2007 if they do not want Abe. Abe could also get us a QB. I like Rivers and to me it's worth the gamble. 1 more thing, Bush would bring unity to this board like no other. This is a one in a lifetime deal, these type of players do not come around often and we are in good position to cash in.

The Gun Of Bavaria
All I'm saying is that there is too much in the way between us and Bush. Would I like to see him in the backfield, of course! But the chances of it happening are slim, so why bother sitting around here setting yourself up for another emotional let down come April. Jet fans said the same exact thing 3 years ago when they gave up two 1st's and a 4th for an underachieving fat load who turned out mediocre at best. afosomf
TX- that is a real fair comparison a workout warrior vs perhaps the best player to come out of college in 30 years!!!!!!!!! Mumbles wants no part of defended this kid, how much longer can Vrable Mcginest and Booski go?

Jet fans got their woody's up over a work-out warrior who so far has been a BUST based on what the Jets gae up to get him. And no sh*t, think I'd want face Bush two times a year for the next 10 years? Blackout
trade our #3 pick and Abe for Bush? I'd do it and I was the only guy supporting Abe last summer

Eli dictated where he wanted to go, so can Reggie. There is no way in hell he wants to play in Houston. there is no way in hell he plays for saints. Only issue is SF!! I'm hoping his agent is smart enuff to send him our way.
Barton
Assmop is right. The 49ers are really the biggest team standing in our quest for Bush. If the Jets lose out, I think we have a great chance at Bush. Lets hope the Texans and 49ers can each squeak out another win apiece. The texans are at home this week and have played competitively the last 4 weeks, this week they go against the jaguars, who were almost beaten by the 49ers last week! If the Texans can steal this Win, they go to San Fran the next week. I think San Fran wins that game at home, if not...... We have to hope the 49ers beat the RAMS (who are horrible) this week. Then the Texans can go to san fran and beat the 49ers. This is very possible. Lets hope the Jets lose out!

I really think you have some inferiority issues. You hide behind the Patriots success to mask your own failures in life.. Its kind of sad really..
