kelticwizard Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 I think the reason people think the 2014 draft will be better for QB's is faith in the law of averages. I'm no draftnik, but this year I gather there is only one emerging QB-Geno Smith-who SOME people have enthusiasm about. And that enthusiasm is by no means unanimous. Nobody shows any great desire for any of the others at all, and there seems to be general agreement that in a normal year the others would go third round or lower. People seem to be banking-or at least hoping-that there can't possibly be two consecutive years with nobody really good coming into the draft. It's statistically unlikely-isn't it? Tired of getting sh*t on by the only QB on our roster, I need a variety of sh*ts at least to keep hope alive that maybe this next guy wont sh*t on me.
