AFJF
It'll be something along the lines of "fat George got duped by an over the hill past his prime CF. Now we get to go out and rob the Mariners by trading for one of the best young outfielders in baseball. Jeremy Reed baby. Yankee fans will rue the day Jeremy Reed suits up for the Sawx. And it doesn't end there. Having seen the foolish moves they've made, the Sox will go out and re-acquire the GREATEST STOPPER OF ALL TIME...the one and only BRANDON LYON. I can see the headlines now.."Brandon Brought Back to Beantown" bwahahaha Just a wild guess
Blackout
do the red sox have a shortstop yet?

Bob
When the tears clear up enough to see his keyboard, and when he's done kicking the dog, he'll come back here with some story about "having a life" and having better things to do. Funny how he never has a life, or better things to do, when things are going well for Johnny Damon's former team.

Funny how he never has a life, or better things to do, when things are going well for Johnny Damon's former team. Well, then in 2006, he will have mor etime to have a life. I still hope the Bosox sign Clemens. Remember the eralier thread where JBF vowed to turn it in if that ever happens?

Remember the eralier thread where JBF vowed to turn it in if that ever happens? hahahaha as much as I'd love the Yankees to get Clemens, thats REALLY tempting If the Sox sign Roger, and Zippy doesn't stick to his words, he'll be ran off this forum with laughter oh wait, he already DOES get ran off this forum with laughter, explaining his recent absense
Garb
Smizzy, you know I have nothing but respect for you, so this is not really an afront, just trying to prove a point as to why some Yankees fans (not you) are viewed as pigs: Posted: Tue Dec 06, 2005 3:45 pm Post subject: If the NY Yankees Sign Johnny Damon I swear to god on my kids lives...I will boycott this entire season. The WHOLE farging thing. So, JBF makes off the cuff, heat of the moment claims and it's held up as law in the JN Court (of jesters), yet Smizzy says he will boycott the season and no one gets on his case. Now, I'm no JBF fan, but what is fair is fair....

Jet/BosoxFan
Please see my Johnny Damon thread for an official statement from the JBF camp. BTW, I would have happily traded Johnny Damon for a year free from smizzy posts!
Smizzy
Why would this lable me a pig? I hate Damon. always have. Im livid. What's the point? I Made it very clear...If a 32 yr old Johnny Damon signed a 7yr deal w/the Yankees I was done for the season. He didn't. A 4 yr deal isn't going to kill me. I hate this move. Would it make you feel better if I close my eyes when Damon is up? All I know is the more talking Garb does....The more dishes that need to be done later.
