KSJets
Cimini or Sanchez, I don't know who I want out of town more. If an 0-16 season leads to Cimini quitting and leaving the business for good, then I'm perfectly ok with that lol.

BP
Hey, maybe we should leave him in the game after the throws a completion rather than taking him out immediately and bringing another qb in. maybe he can get some kind of rhythm
KSJets
Cimini would love an 0-16 season. He'll sign an extension Oh, I know. If that was the only way to get rid of him, I would sign up for that in a heartbeat. I read his chat transcript yesterday and someone asked why he keeps mentioning Tebow in every damn article and he replied with he's giving the people what they want since Tebow is so popular. I'm sorry, but I don't want to read about a player who isn't on the team anymore. I especially liked one question that said if his article was printed that he wouldn't wipe his ass with it. I'm surprised that one made it through.

He can;t handle any offense, as Rex will once again learn when the bodies start bouncing around and the fear and trembliing rears its ugly head. He hasn't completed a high percentage of passes or moved the offense since he was drafted. The verdict is in and he sucks.

Stonehands
Yeah, I agree. but do you think pulling him after a completion is going to help? Once he completes one, the percentages say there is a pretty good chance the next one is going to be incomplete. I think you have to do whatever you can to score and having Sanchez on the field wasn't working. I fully expect his numbers to improve under the WCO because it is an offense that creates completions, but Sanchez will never be better than a below average starter. Stonehands
It's funny because by all accounts, Geno is still learning the playbook and the footwork for the various plays and he still looks and sound indecisive. While Sanchez got the jump start by working with Jeff Garcia and is way ahead in understanding the playbook. But, when you ask anyone with the Jets, the two of them are even. It just shows you how poorly Sanchez throws the ball and makes decisions.

If Sanchez stinks, and Geno is even with Sanchez, what does that say about Geno? btw it's not that he's learning "footwork for the various plays" he's learning how to play QB not in a shotgun. He's learning pro style offense instead of air raid offense. It will take time. Edited June 17, 2013 by bitonti

ZachEY
If Sanchez stinks, and Geno is even with Sanchez, what does that say about Geno? I seem to remember something about "raw talent and only being 23" after years of failure, so why are you now doing this after 3 practices?

jbone
Russell Wilson didn't beat the other two out until the end of August. Or to put it differently, he wasn't named the starter until then. Google it. Edited June 17, 2013 by jbone

I guess you can look at it that way or that as lost as Geno is at this point, he is even with a guy with 5 years in the league. Probably says a lot about both of them.
