Put Sanchez on a 60s-70s team, with the NFL rules the way they were set up & enforced, and tell him to throw the ball a lot. Then take away a top-5 defense & ground game for half his career, and a special teams unit that gets the offense an extra 5-10 yards more than most on kickoffs. Oh yeah, and take away kickers who regularly boot 75% from 40+ so they're not forced to go for low-percentage TDs in the closing minutes of close games or halves. Then let's see his ratio. Would probably be 1:3. Sanchez = awful. He isn't talented enough to be this careless & care-free off the field. Namath wasted a lot of his talent & I'll bet he'd be the first to admit it now in hindsight. But Sanchez isn't nearly the superior comparative talent that Namath was. Namath = John Elway who didn't take his job seriously enough often enough. Sanchez = same thing but substitute John Elway with Joey Harrington.
