How do you know he's town?  Because he survived the lynch?  Seems like a good thing to add to the Cult Leader so they dont die day 1 and ruins the game.  If I was making a conversion game, the converted would have some type of protect so they coudnt be lynched or killed on the first day phase.  Kind of ruins the game, no?

Why was it necessary to speedlynch / hammer someone (even if acting like an a$$hole) is beyond me.

This could have been avoided easily.

 

He deserved it.  Day 1 requires blood in the water so the town can determine who is aligned with whom.  How could this have been easily avoided?  Maybe you should have noted your observations in the thread.

I didn't have the chance to do that. Nor did he. Just because someone plays like a dick on D1, that don't mean you should blind-lynch him. WOuld you want to blindlynch your cop, for instance?

I received information that - along with our PM talk with him - has made me 99.9% sure that he was town. No, not mod-confirmed.

Agreed but it doesn't necesarilly mean a conversion.  There was no mention of any "creatures" in that scene like we saw in the opening scene.
