It's hard to figure out what's going on sometimes as it's not just straight factual tweets, but too much of their own personal bias in there, especially from cimini. I was surprised McManus made it seem so far-fetched that Geno would struggle when his second unit goes up against the first-team defense. I mean, ya think? Definitely enjoyed that tweet. ZachEY Posted July 31, 2013 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Think it was a D dominated day. Sanchez had a pick and a few drops, Smith had a difficult time getting the ball away, and took 2 sacks. First real shaky day by the offense. That's a good thing Yeah. We expect the D to be better, for sure. For now, I can deal with Geno's biggest problem being too slow a clock. Let him learn the QB position, and have Kerley run the wildcat if they feel they need to. Why open up your alleged QB of the future to potential injury when he wasn't even a running QB in college? Just seems dumb. Pure speculation on my part but I think they are anticipating Sanchez being the starter on opening day at least.
