Integrity28
I had my big $$$ draft tonight: #12 pick overall, in a keeper league that took a couple 1st rounders off the board. Chris Johnson Dez Demarco V Jax Reggie Wayne Big Ben Gronk (keeper) Ben Tate Jordan Cameron Phillip Rivers Percy Harvin (so I could keep him next year, I can drop him immediately) Seahawks D Fred Davis Bilal Powell Markus Wheaton Isaac Redman Jankowski I don't think I got great value in round 1 or 2, but I feel good about both guys - the other players I considered there were Reggie Bush, Steven Jackson and Stevan Ridley. I'm buying on the revamped offensive line in Tennessee though, and the ceiling for CJ2K being about 1600 yards. He looks good this year, while Dez helped many owners during the stretch last year by being flat out dominant. He's one of maybe 2 players that could eclipse Megatron, the other being AJ Green. My roster, so you understand the logic - also there are no negative points for QBs. QB1 - Ben Flex (QB, RB, WR, TE) - Rivers RB 1 - CJ RB 2 - Demarco WR 1 - Dez WR 2 - V Jax Flex (RB, WR, TE) - Reggie Wayne TE - Gronk D - Seattle K - Seabass Jordan Cameron Fred Davis Markus Wheaton Bilal Powell Ben Tate Redman I had to drop 1 guy immediately, which was Harvin. This team won't be as dominant as some I've built in the past years for this league, but I still think I've got a shot. I'm loving every pick except my 1st rounder, and even that could work out well. Hindsight 20/20 - I could have taken any 2 of CJ, SJax, Ridley or Reggie Bush at 12 and 13, and gotten by with WRs later. Oh well.

The Titans gave up the third-most Fantasy points per game last season to opposing running backs. In fact, Redman had a big game against Tennessee Week 6 of last year. He rushed for just 14 yards on five carries, but caught four passes for 105 yards on the day.
Pac
ok reason I mention it is because I'm team # 2 and another guy is team #1... today CBS did a draft recap and said I had the worst draft and team # 1 had the best... I know it doesn't mean anything but it ticked me off because they seemingly didn't know, like you 2 don't appear to, that Redman was named the starter. Howling and Jones may spell him but he's the main guy for now... I think Thomas catching passes from Peyton, and my QB/WR combo with Luck/Wayne is better than Garcon and TY Hilton... He has me on starting RB's but I crush him in TE's and WR depth... I did my homework and look for Desean to have a breakout year in Chip Kellys Offense.. Vick recently stated he could see "30 % of passes going to Jackson". It's debatable which team is better but for them to put me dead last and him 1st is a joke... Pac
not to mention the lineup will be interchangeable.. I have Ivory and Ballard who both appear to be # 1 guys (especially when Bradshaw gets hurt again). I may use the starters I showed for this week because Redman has a good matchup and I think Jackson will have a 100 yard 1 td game. I need to see what Ivory and Ballard have before I get them in there. I used a very late 2nd rounder on Graham because until Gronk is healthy there won't be any TE that comes close to his production. I've always had a average to below average TE in this league and I was determined to not let that happen again. I'm obviously biased but I think my team has more depth and will likely be more consistent. I have 3 # 1 WR's and T Rich is primed for a breakout year. I read up on him and he's lost 12 lbs, is healthy, and will be a workhorse in Norv Turners offense..
Pac
Le'Veon Bell will summarily execute whoever is left standing. true but that's what the waiver wire is for.. I'll make moves as necessary. I don't suspect Redman will be a year long play but in the early going I'm happy to have gotten him.. especially since there were no other starters available when I drafted him. (I actually drafted Ivory before him).

AJ Green is beastly, TG still a top 4 TE, and you got the QB WE RB combo with Brees to Lance Moore and Sproles.. Although Lance Moore is a pain in the ass.. he has a great game or 2 then disappears for weeks afterwards. He's fooled me on the waiver wire the last couple years. WWWWombat
Those computerized recaps suck anyways. I definitely like your WR/TE situation a lot more. Pac
just noticed something.. that was supposed to say Demaryius Thomas, JC... not sure if you're confusing him with Denarius Moore from Oakland. Oh and I also have Jeremy Kerly who I got in like the 16th round.. If MM utilizes the slot receiver like they say he does he'll add nice depth in case one of my starters gets injured. WWWWombat
Yeah, Moore can be frustrating, but WR is the easiest position to fill from FA and Golden Tate was kind of a sleeper for me this year. Pac
oh and JC, T Rich is better than Mccoy and wayyy better than S. Jackson.. he may have me on starting RB's but I don't think he'll beat me by that much on that position any given week.. I'll more than make up for any deficit with my WR's and TE. Mccoy could have a great year but everything I've read from sites I trust more than CBS or Yahoo have T Rich ahead.

Minimal points for yardage, it's all about TDs and I expect Jones and Cobb to lead the Packers in receiving TDs. If Rodgers is going to throw 30+ TDs, then I'll be benefiting from a fair share of them. If Kimbrelll can stat like Brandon Lloyd, then I'm golden... especially if Alshon shows up in Chicago the way he's expected to. Last year by the time I fixed my WR situation on waivers my season was kaput. I over-drafted RBs early and nobody would trade their WRs. RBs are easy to grow from waivers when you only need 2. WRs in this league are clung to for dear life.

Bleedin Green
Hey kids, how's it going? I was wandering around the board in boredom, so figured I'd join the party. Here was my first draft, it's a 12 team league: 1. (7) Doug Martin (TB - RB) 2. (18) Jimmy Graham (NO - TE) 3. (31) David Wilson (NYG - RB) 4. (42) Matt Ryan (Atl - QB) 5. (55) Jordy Nelson (GB - WR) 6. (66) Antonio Brown (Pit - WR) 7. (79) Andre Brown (NYG - RB) 8. (90) Mark Ingram (NO - RB) 9. (103) Shane Vereen (NE - RB) 10. (114) Emmanuel Sanders (Pit - WR) 11. (127) Ben Roethlisberger (Pit - QB) 12. (138) Jacquizz Rodgers (Atl - RB) 13. (151) Andre Roberts (Ari - WR) 14. (162) New York (NYJ - DEF) 15. (175) Adam Vinatieri (Ind - K) I would usually never go TE that high but the top of this draft was a complete sh*t show and everyone I was looking at went flying off the board in the picks right before I was up and I felt like everyone else I liked was too much of a reach at that point. At least it's a guy that, barring injury, I could play all season long and never have to worry about again. I generally liked the top half of my draft, but can freely admit things took a big downturn in the second half. WR didn't work out great because, while I'm fine with my starters, I know my backups are a mess, particularly since I completely blanked out when I made that Sanders pick and managed to double-up on friggin' Steelers WRs. That said, I've never been one to go too high on WRs because it's the position I've always had the greatest success of grabbing in FA and working with match-ups. Health permitting, I should be ok with Nelson and Brown until their byes. Andre Brown got hurt about 15 minutes after that pick, which was just fantastic, as I had taken him to cover my ass in case Wilson didn't work out. Oh well.
