Stonehands
You look at Carpenter's career numbers with Miami, he has to make an NFL roster this year. A consistent 80% plus guy for his career. It would seem that Nick Folk may have finally met his match.

flgreen
the same Carpenter who missed a chipshot last year that allowed the Jets to beat Miami? that Carpenter? Yep same one. He also did the same thing in the Cardinals game. That's why he is now unemployed. Hope he stays that way. Edit: Technically he's no longer unemployed I guess. Stonehands
Some of the people on this thread must love playing the lottery each week, too. Because in the face of good solid statistics, you know better. Carpenter has averaged over 80% makes while Folk averages under 80% makes. There aren't too many guys on the planet who can make over 80% of their field goals year in and year out. Maybe it isn't significant, I mean it is only 1 or 2 more makes a year and with the way we score, who cares?
