Green Jets & Ham

Root for the Vikings tonite, fellas ... that Game has huge draft tiebreaker implications

If the Vikings win, we Go into the final weekend with a 2 Game SOS lead over the Packers, but if the Vikings lose we enter the final weekend in an SOS dead heat with GB

Also, if the Vikings win it shrinks the Saints SOS lead over the Jets to 2 Games, but if the Vikings lose the Saints will take a commanding 4 Game SOS lead over the Jets into the final weekend ... which is insurmountable

As you can see, tonites Game has massive tiebreaker implications, and we need a Vikings win

PS. Merry Christmas

Ok. So now that the frickin Ravens beat the Vikings.....

I dont really care what it does with the Saints SOS vs ours, because they are not a threat for Reggie Bush. I would have preferred a vikings win, but its not the end of the world that they lost. But....

Now the Packers are toe to toe with us on SOS. So who do we root for to win in next weeks games for us to gain the SOS on the Packers?

No the whining are the legions of fans who think the Jets HAVE to draft Bush and that Bush is the second coming of Jesus Christ at RB. That's all we've heard around this place for 2 1/2 months.

We arent whining.

Just because we want the greatest player in the draft really badly, doesnt make us whiners.

And nobody is saying we'd turn this team around with just Reggie. But he'd be a great building block.

I will never root for the Jets to lose- i still can not understand people that do for root for their teams. It goes against all of philosophy to not try your hardest to do the best possible in whatever you are doing

Yes, whining about getting the "greatest" player in the draft for two and a half months is, in fact, whining about it. And, are you blind? There are a ton of people, here and elsewhere, who feel they're Reggie Bush away from winning the Super Bowl.

Who wouldn't love a little Bush?

Seriously, look at some of the successful teams out there. They're doing it with a running game. LT, Shaun Alexander, Tiki, etc... having Bush on the Jets does not make them Super-Bowl bound, but it will make us competitive. It will make Penningtion's play-action more successful, should Chad return.

With Curtis all but being done, I can't imagine going through several more years of second-tier running backs like the Johhny Johnsons, Brad Baxters, or Adrian Murrells. CMart spoiled us all.

So I'm on the Bush bandwagon, and why not? It's ok to dream. Hell, we were all convinced the Jets would at least make the playoffs this year, right? Drafting Bush is realistic, and the talk won't end until the draft.
