They're are not out of the Reggie Bush sweepstakes for the No. 1 overall draft pick, which means Bush as a Jet isn't yet out of the question.

If the Jets lose to Buffalo, the Texans (2-13) beat the 49ers (3-12) and the Saints (3-12) beat the Buccaneers Sunday, based on the Jets weaker strength of schedule compared to the Texans, the Jets would have the top pick.

Although if Green Bay, Houston, and New Orleans lose

then the draft order will be

1.Houston-Reggie Bush

2.New Orleans

3.Green Bay

4.NYJ

If Houston beats San Francisco, Green Bay and Jets lose then..

1.New Orleans

2.Green Bay

3.NYJ

4.Houston

If New Orleans, Green Bay, and Houston win and Jets + Titans lose

1.NYJ

2.Houston

3.New Orleans

4.Tennessee

*note* Green Bay is playing Seattle in Lambeau next week.. Seattle has already clinched so they will likeley rest players...

Most likeley scenario is that we end up with the 4th pick in the draft..

The hype on this player has gotten to the point where he may never even be able to live up to it.

agreed. Its at the point now where he could run for 1,000 yards next year...and in ways still be considered a failure, EVEN AS A ROOKIE.

that being said..i still want to draft him if possible

The Packer will beat Seatle's back ups, the Texans will beat San Fran, but New Orleans will not beat the Bucs. So lets hope NO doesent pick Bush. But I still cant root for us to loose....its not in my blood. We'll talk again after next sunday.

i realize hes been hurt...but deuece is a pretty dag on good RB. And last time i checked...they just benched their starting qb for the year a few weeks ago--new orleans is smart and would trade down to a team like new york, which will give up WAY too much, and we'll all complain even the bush lovers, b/c the 2nd overall pick and abe/vilma and next years first round pick will be too much for bush...despite how much the complete reggie lovers think it might be. Don't get me wrong, i want bush...but unless we can draft him with OUR pick...i do NOT want him.

i will root for you then

WTF is everyone worried about.. losing their jobs with Jets

IF the big picture is the greater good, then rooting to lose is ok

Same here. Even though the Oakland game seemed like it was thrown or whatever people say, it was nice to get a win. I want to see them win each week, and I am not about to root for them to lose now.
