TaborJet
Guys, Installing Sirius in your car is a snap. I got the Sportster Replay for Christmas, and it came with a cigarette/power cable and the antenna, which has a 20 ft. cord. It also came with a winshield mount, but I special ordered a holder that mounts onto my a/c vents. It's easier to reach, and it's out of view.(www.arkon.com if you're interested.) So, kotite, it does transmit to any unused FM staion. Unfortunately, living in NJ, even the unused staions have some static. The music stations sound great-near cd quality- but the talk stations have an AM sound to them. And 4H- didn't try to use it in the house yet. I don't have the home kit. However, your antenna should be near a window facing west. Now for my own question. I can't seem to load the Sirius website. Am I the only one? with a paid subscription, you can listen online. BleedinGreenNC
I got Sirius awhile back, and i was able to get the tuner for like $25 at Best Buy, my deck in my truck has sirius built into the unit, so all i had to do was install my new deck and then hook up the tuner, and then mount my antenna on my dash. Very easy!!
4HCrew
Did you keep the antenna in the car or do you put it outside... I am finding that if I attach it to my hood the reception is 800 times better. I have a 2005 Altima and there is a SAT feature on my radio just have no idea to get it synched up
