Sperm Edwards
Jets activated QB David Garrard from the exempt list. Signed two weeks ago, Garrard's roster exemption was set to expire. He slides in as Geno Smith's backup ahead of Matt Simms. The Jets have released Brady Quinn in a corresponding roster move. Garrard "retired" in May after he couldn't get his balky knee right, but stayed in shape. In theory, he's a more viable No. 2 than Quinn, but that's provided his body actually allows him to play. Simms is No. 3 on the depth chart. Oct 21 - 4:26 PM Source: Chris Mortensen on Twitter

slats
So great that Garrard is healthy enough to play now that he doesn't expect to. Hope he doesn't retire again if Geno gets hurt.

Sperm Edwards
So great that Garrard is healthy enough to play now that he doesn't expect to. Hope he doesn't retire again if Geno gets hurt. Well, it depends what record they have. In May, I'm sure it looked like we were going to be 4-12 and all he knew was the team drafted 3 guys for the OL, Ferguson & Mangold no longer being what they once were, Willie Colon who would probably be hurt by week 2, and some guy named Austin Howard who (being honest) was only given a chance starting because he was the least of the evils on the roster. Now we have a winning record, the OL is protecting well enough, and he isn't going to have to take that beating anyway unless Geno gets injured. EZMoney. SoFlaJets
Schotty will perform wonders for Quinn. Look what he did for Bradford They were just showing Bradford getting carted off and it's uncanny how much Sanchez looks like him...maybe the Jets should trade Sanchez over to his old buddy's team.
