Next year's schedule is tough

If Rex is going to move on after this year are we allowed to trade him to a contender for a high draft pick? He's under contract. That way we got more ammo in the draft. I'd personally rather keep him as opposed to a 1st/2nd but if he's gotta walk we could use the help trying to land a franchise QB

Even though you can never count on a schedule being difficult or not on paper only most years, that's brutal. Just look at the QB's we'll be facing alone: Peyton, Rivers, Stafford, Rodgers, Ben, and of course Brady twice. Brutal.

Knowshon Moreno, Ryan Matthews, Reggie Bush, Eddie Lacy, Le'Veon Bell and Pats Scrub #3 are sh*tting their pants right now though.

Minnesota offered a 7th and Josh Freeman.

how do you know this?

Because last time we played the NFC North we were @Detroit, and @Chicago. Last time we played the AFC West we were @Oak, and @Denver. It alternates every rotation. This year we where @the AFC south so we should host the South opponent putting us @Pitt.

Who really knows anything about next season.  People love to make predictions, but who knows.  There are always a few teams who wind up as a new playoff team and a few old ones.  Teams with Brady, Manning, Rodgers, & Brees seem to compete every year, but even then Brees wasn't Brees last year without his HC.

Rodgers got hurt this year and the Packers suck without him.    The Texans were supposed to be a step or two away from contenders and now they are some 2-14 disaster.   The Bucs were supposed to be contenders with Revis, but they are a top 5 draft pick kind of team.

Schedules really mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.  I honestly wish the jets were more like the Patriots in that sense.  The Patriots never seem to care whether or not it's an easy or tough schedule.   They always wind up winning 12+ games.   Same goes for Manning's teams.     When your team is on pace to win 11-12-13 games every season,  the conversation is around what playoff seed, compared to "can we get to 8 wins and sneak into the playoffs."
