T-Mac
Good for you. That game six at the Continental Arena was probably the most dramatic sports event I've seen, unfortunately.
R44
Nice touch, playing Edmonton....You know, the Blueshirts aquired him at the age of 30.... Bob WAH-shoes-in, or whatever his name is, wondered how he would've did in NYC if he aquired in his prime BTY, a NHL players "prime" is different than a NFL running back. Thanks T-Mac- i know it hurts for the Devil fans-but 1994 with Messier made my years of rooting for the Rangers special. It is going to be a great to see this person R44-if Messier was here in his prime the Rangers might not have waited so long for a Stanley Cup Not being arrogant but hockey needs and has needed the New York team to do well for the sports sake
R44
I'm not sure faba, I agree Messier would've been better to have when he was 25. But in hockey, 30 isn't old -- it was his prime (sort of). Mess was still considered a high impact player a couple seasons after the Cup. When you think about it, most of the great players that played for the Blueshirts were imports brought in after 30 -- Espo, Mess, Jagr, list goes on and on. Leetch and Richter would be the only 2 great one, since the 1980's, they've developed. Still sort of sorry to see Leetch wearing all these other uni's... But how can you blame him for wanting to leave?
