I'm not done with Geno, they need to at least get another (preferably proven veteran) option there for both depth and competition purposes. While OLB could use an upgrade, it was far from one of their biggest weaknesses and they could get by if they brought Pace back and plus have Barnes getting healthy. For those other positions I'm not sure the same or similar could be said.

Bleedin Green
WR OT: Howard is a free agent. OG: Colon is a free agent. Waters may have upside, but not established yet. TE Safety I cannot imagine there's any way the Jets let Howard walk. He has to be their #1 priority in terms of their upcoming FAs to retain. However, if he somehow leaves, then that position absolutely skyrockets up the list of priorities.

WR1 WR2 OLB or, Barnes back CB1 or, significant restructure from Cromartie QB2, one that can play if Geno is pulling a fast one On this list I'd swap out WR2 for TE as more pressing. We could probably do top ten positions of need. We'd probably be better off doing 5 positions we don't need: K DE DT LT C After that we need everything. Everyone's touting Ebron as the next coming, but every time I watch him play, I look up, and literally see him drop the ball and grab his head. I would actually prefer a consistent, hands-ball catcher that can get open, than some physical marvel who simply produces because he gets 19 targets a game. For that reason, a WR2 in the second round has a higher rating for me than any first round TE.
shawn306
Let me also add a Veteran backup QB who can actually play. Enough of this Brunnell, Garrard crap. Go out and sign a guy like Fitzpatrick, or Schaub who will be able to step in in pinch actually play the position.

77DRAFT
TE WR kick returner S FB If colon and cro walk, we will need to replace them and they will both be priorities, replacing KR and FB, but Idzik should have enough cap to add a a couple of real good defensive players, and enough picks to young play makers, don't really want to see cro cut, but I guess it's inevitable. I'm assuming William Campbell isn't ready, but I have no idea, and also that Cro walks, if they stay, add a veteran fullback and kick returner to the list. We could use a veteran who can really be a lead blocker and show Tommy the ropes a little bit, fullbacks can also play tight end, and it's good to have 2 FB's. A beast of a blocker would be a good compliment to Bohanan.

Richie Anderson / Keith Byers type would be nice a guy who can run, block and catch, Tommy can't block yet, and he doesn't position himself for dump offs when Geno is under pressure, this is an issue, but not really his fault, he is a nice player, like Milner he got a lot better as the season went on, as did all our rooks and QC.
